The Stoic Merino Blend 1/4 Zip Baselayer Top features MerinoEdge, a strong and toasty blend of wool and polyester. With the polyester added, it's more durable than merino alone, yet still boasts the odor-resistant and temperature regulating properties you love about wool. A quarter zip at the neck lets you cool off if you're working hard, while the next-to-skin fit can easily be layered upon during particularly frigid adventures.

Arms are very tight...strange because the torso fits regularly. Can become itchy. Not something I would return it over, but I don’t love it.

Like a previous reviewer, I found the arms and shoulders to be really tight compared to the body of the top. Probably too tight to wear comfortably. I don't run into this issue all that often, I think this top is just cut strangely. It's also a pretty thin fabric. I could see it being a nice lightweight top but it's definitely a baselayer, you will need more layers to be warm.

I had high hopes for this top. I ordered it in Black. The fabric felt like a nice blend and the body length and fit were as I hoped. Unfortunately the shoulders and cuffs were way to tight for function. I am a consistent XS in pretty much every brand and that is what I ordered in this top and what I always order in Stoic. Returning it.

I've had this shirt since July and mostly use it for casual wear, trail running, and climbing indoors at the gym for my first few easy warm-up climbs. It is ripping at the seams on the arms and there is a small hole unraveling on the front of it. The material is really thin. I really liked this shirt initially as a light-weight base layer but I recommend trying another brand.

Great baselayer top. Love the zip neck and thumbholes. The sleeves are a bit long, but it's not a problem since the thumbholes keep them up when I have top layers. The wool isn't too itchy either.
