Whatever your winter plans, from snowshoeing aspen woods to skiing soft lines, the Spyder Orb Softshell Pant is a comfortable way to go about your business. The 360 degree stretch nylon softshell fabric is treated with DWR for water-repellency, but because it's a softshell it still breathes enough to perform admirably during aerobic activities. Internal ankle gaiters help keep the snow out while you're making first tracks and cuff guards keep the bottoms from being sliced by crampons or ski edges, and cuff anchors keep things secured snugly, negating the need for large gaiters in most instances.

These pants do run small but they are very cute so I'm ordering a size up. I wear an 8 in jeans so I ordered the 8 and 10 because of the reviews but will order the 12. Very figure flattering as flattering as ski pants can be. They are a slim fit which is what I was looking for.

There’s no way I would have been able to add a base layer or even sit & ski with these!! I workout everyday, but my legs are pretty normal and I’ve never put on a pair of bottoms that fit that tight on my quads. (I have never needed to measure my legs to buy pants, but just in case: the circumference of the biggest part of my thigh which is just below the hip is 22). Too bad because these were the nicest of 3 pairs that I tested out but like the other reviewer said, something is weird about the fit.

Purchased a 4, too small. Ordered the 6, and they feel like the same size as the 4! Going to find a new pant.

I typically wear a 4 or 6 in pants, purchased an 8 for flexibility and couldn't even button.

They have been very sturdy and warm. Very impressed on how hydrophobic it is and how fast they dry.

I purchased these for my step-mom and this is what she says: "My step children gave me a pair of these pants for Christmas. I am not a skier but wanted them for snow shoeing and hiking during the cold Vermont winters. I also plan on using them later this winter when I am running the chain saw to clear downed trees in our woods. They are super warm!"
