Keep your feet comfy with the Smartwool Women's PhD Outdoor Light Mid Crew Socks while you explore the great outdoors . Merino wool fabric regulates temperature to help your feet stay comfy and dry, and Smartwool's 4 Degree elite fit system uses two elastics for greater stretch and recovery to keep the sock from shifting or bunching. ReliaWool cushioning in high-impact areas increases comfort and durability. Strategically-placed ventilation zones increase airflow to keep your feet cooler, and the virtually seamless toe eliminates painful pressure points and irritating chafing.

Bought these as a gift, here's what she had to say I got these socks initially for my hike up to Mt. Timpanogos as I am not a fan of super thick hiking socks. These socks performed amazingly. Super comfy and my feet felt protected the entire (long) hike. They do not itch even though they contain merino wool. I ended up getting a couple more pairs as they I love them so much and wear them now all the time for walking the doggies. Would highly recommend these anyone.

These Smartwool socks are the best hiking socks I own. They are super breathable, and warm but not too hot. Will probably order more of this pair!

I run in the low version of these socks, and was thrilled when I saw they're making them in a higher version. I'm using these with hiking boots and with casual boots, and they're just as great as my running socks. They hold up for a long time too, so worth the price.

I bought a pair of these about a year ago and LOVED THEM! Sadly, I recently lost them and decided I must have them again. I used them doing field work this summer, I would wear them 8-10 days in a row (gross) and they wouldn't stink and wouldn't get all stiff and weird. I love them. The indestructawool is NO JOKE.

This crew sock was perfect for my backpacking trip. My feet never got too hot or too cold, when it got wet - the sock dried out quickly. Perfect for both a small hike or a long trek.
