After a long Saturday group ride while still shaking from the accumulated effort of multiple county line sprints, it can be tempting to slump haphazardly on the couch, clutching a bag of snack cookies in an attempt to feel alive again. While cookies are inarguably delicious, they're not really helping you reap the benefits of those three hours you just spent at threshold. So keep a handful of the chocolate chip noms and set the rest of the bag aside in favor of Science in Sport's REGO Rapid Recovery Drink Mix. It's a win-win choice that'll have you recovering faster and leave some snacks in the cupboard for the next day's post-ride lounging.

REGO utilizes 23g of carbohydrates per serving to replenish crucial energy stores depleted during training, and 20g of soy protein boosted with 2g of leucine that acts as a catalyst to increase muscle protein synthesis. Add in a dash of electrolytes with vitamins and minerals, and REGO provides a mix of ingredients that work together to help your muscles recover faster and be better prepared for the next day's workout.

For those of us toeing the line at competitions, REGO Rapid Recovery also offers some peace of mind from the whirling chatter of tainted supplements and suspicious substances. It's certified through the Informed Sport Evolved Certification program, undergoing vigorous testing through a third party, world-class anti-doping lab that analyzes pre-production raw ingredients and post-production product. The organization also completes site audits to ensure that REGO contains quality ingredients and is free from prohibited substances. If you're serious about racing clean, this certification means everything.

Science in Sport's REGO Rapid Recovery is vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, wheat-free, and nut-free.

I've tested multiple brands of post-workout/recovery protein mixes and this is by far the smoothest and best tasting one I've come across. It mixes smooth both with a Vitamix blender and a Cuisinart immersion blender with whisk attachment,

One of my favorite tasting recoveries that I know also gets the job done. Easy on the stomach and makes it that much easier to want to get the proper recovery

Got this mix because I wanted to try some SiS products and I needed a recovery drink. Blends well and tastes alright (i've had both better and worse) as well as being easy on the stomach.

Finally, I found a good recovery product that easy on the stomach and good taste. I like the chocolate and mixed with a blender. I also use their gels and bars.

SIS know what they are doing when it comes to fueling athletes. Just ask G Thomas. Anyway, this recovery mix has essential nutrients to build after a hard ride. I was surprised how good the chocolate tasted and how well it mixed in a shaker bottle.

It's a little hard to get to completely mix. That's the only negative. But it taste good and seems to work. Can't ask for more than that.
