I needed something for working extremely long hours averaging 40k steps a day outside on varied terrain. These shoes do not care what is under them, they support the foot perfectly. The hook grip with the cleat like design saved me from a slip fall today in the rain...avoiding injury they've already paid for themselves. Finally a quality worth the price! Good conversation starter too lots of compliments.
