On early season race days when the temperature isn't going to rise as much as you were hoping, it's helpful to have a long-sleeve jersey to reach for that isn't the club fit thermal jersey you wear on chilly fall training rides. Pearl Izumi makes the versatile SELECT Pursuit Long-Sleeve Jersey for days like this. The SELECT Pursuit lacks the added bulk of brushed thermal lining that defines most cool-weather jerseys; instead, it's made with the same SELECT Transfer fabric as Pearl's short-sleeve race jerseys. The material rapidly pulls moisture away from your skin as you sweat in cool temperatures when you can't afford to overheat or suffer a clammy chill.

Pearl constructed the SELECT Pursuit with a contoured, race-ready silhouette for a fit that won't leave room for bunchy or baggy material to create drag as you attack the group. The full-length front zipper and elasticized gripper on the rear hem are simple touches that allow you to control ventilation and keep the jersey in place so you're free to focus on racing. It's finished with three rear pockets for the standard essentials you'll need during longer races.

I needed a long sleeve jersey in just a regular weight - not thermal and super light. This fit the bill. Great color, just the right weight and nicely made. Fits great through chest and waist but the shoulders are a bit narrow for me but not so much that I can’t wear it. This is a nice jersey but if you have proportionately broader shoulders than average go for the next size up.

Great lightweight long sleeve option. Keeps the sun off on brighter days, I prefer this when it is bright but a bit breezy or cooler since I burn quite easily. This version does run a bit small as others have stated, I would recommend sizing up one size from your regular size.

I got two of these for my dad who loves to ride but has had too many close calls with skin cancer. He loves the fit and how great they regulate temperature.

I like this jersey--I think it fits true to size, wearing a "small" at a trim 143 lb, 5 ft, 7 in. The fabric breathes well, and I use it for sun protection at temps into the high 80's out in the desert, and down to the low 50's with an underlayer. Great fabric--I bought a second jersey.

Just like a Nalini long sleeve jersey I just tried, this Pearl Izumi fits me perfectly in the torso (both girth and length-wise), but is too large in the sleeves. The torso fits me like a true race jersey (as it should because its form fitting) without being too tight, but the sleeves are both baggy and a good 3-4" too long. Because they are baggy, rolling the sleeves up doesn't work because they don't fit my forearms tight enough to remain rolled up. It really is too bad, because the colors are great (I went with the Bel Air Blue/Blue Depths), and the fabric is very comfortable (for a form-fitting jersey) and of high quality. But at the end of the day, if it doesn't fit well, I can't recommend it. Technically I haven't returned it yet, but it will be going back for sure.

I like PI jerseys. I have 2 ss jerseys that have lasted for years. Read previous reviews RE: sizing. Went with the L based on size chart. LOL! I like my jerseys tight but man, torso fit find but as I zipped it up.....felt like being stuffed. Mobility/movement was fine. Sleeves a bit too long as I had to roll them up ~2". Final result it is just to uncomfortable. Returned.

Whether its running or cycling I'm a fan of Pearl Izumi products. Not always the least expensive, quality and fit are usually among the best. They nailed the colors, just the right amount of flair and safety without going over the top. I would agree that fitment is off. 6' 190ish lbs wearing the XL, the torso length is too short and the sleeves are too long. As someone who has long arms it doesn't make much sense to me, quite a bit of fabric bunched up.

I wanted to like this jersey. Clean design. Long sleeve without fleece fabric that's often too hot. But runs really small. I'm typically fine with pearl izumi medium for a race fit, but I couldn't even zip it up.
