Designed for women by women, the Patagonia Women's Spring River Waders herald the growth of females in fly-fishing. These sleek slate-gray waders don't droop like your grandpa's pants yet leave lots of room for layers when you're hitting the rivers any time other than the height of summer. Whether you're smaller than a lot of tweens, on par with a pro-cager center, or somewhere in between, Patagonia offers petite, full, and regular options so you can finely tune the fit for your physique.

Four layers of high-density polyester microfiber create a supple and tough shell. Nanosphere DWR works at the microscopic level for dramatically-increased water resistance that can be restored upon exposure to heat. The H2No Performance Standard laminate on the outside shuns water, while the hydrophilic interior laminate loves liquid and draws sweat away for dry fly fishing. The waist-mounted EZ-Lock suspenders have TPU slide-and-lock latches to secure the shoulder straps when you wade into the deep muddy, and they stash away when you only want pants. An adjustable elastic belt slips over your hips when you need to relieve yourself, yet stays in place so your bibs don't bellow with excess water.

These convertible bib/pant waders are put together using single seam construction to minimize wear and maximize the lifespan of your angling outerwear. The 4mm neoprene booties are lined with merino wool for warmth without wetness on your ten little piggies. Two waterproof pockets, one inside and one out, let you take both a smartphone and small fly box with you. A fleece-lined kangaroo pouch pocket is soft and warm on your hands and provides easy access to tippet spools and nippers.

Love these waders! They are very high quality, everything I expect from Patagonia. They are my first women's cut waders. I'm grateful I sized up from the petite to the regulars; that gave me extra room to squat and stretch and have a full range of motion in them! I could do yoga in these things! (lol, not really) They fit my feminine form very well and I'm so pleased to finally have a women's cut pair of waders! The socks fit well in my Simms VaporTread Boots and I'm very happy with the combo.

I'm new to flyfishing, and I definitely wore an oversized pair of these. The feet were huge, but that was my own fault for not getting the proper size. They didn't wet out at all, and the pocket kept my essentials secure and protected from any water. The wasitbelt sits nicely above my hips.

Although the wader is a little big for me, it works. It does the job since I am only standing in a small river. It keeps the water away. The pockets are awesome. You can put anything in it and it won't fall out. Great product.

These waders did the trick as I recently spent several days fishing in cold, spring mountain run-off. After several hours of hopping from pool to pool, my companions were all feeling a little chilled but I was as toasty as can be. I appreciate the little details, such as the dry bag stitched into the bibs... it's a perfect place to hold my fishing license. The hand warming pocket on the outside is a nice touch. Had the fit been much less boxy and unattractive, I would have given these 5 stars. But, at the end of the day, function wins out over fashion for me.

I heard Patagonia coming out with some awesome fishing gear (well they always do) but I heard these were special. Wow, these are way incredible! Waders are meant to have space within, but these had such a nice fit; length and the width to not be overwhelming. There was some give around the feet but nothing major to switch sizes. They slipped perfectly into the Patagonia x Danner wading boots. When putting them on, give yourself a shimmy to make sure you're fully in the waders - you'll have a better time having them sized correctly, especially the articulated knees. My favorite part is the pocket in the front and also the pocket warmer for your hands if you need a second to get your blood back to your fingers. Then all together I tried to put these through the ruff and much more durable than I thought. Such a great pick!

I bought these for my wife and she loves them. She only has 4 days in them but the quality seems great. The fit is really good going off of the size chart. The convertible feature is going to be great for the summer and also works well for getting into an inside pocket if needed.

I wanted to love these waders. I was looking forward to a lighter weight pair of waders to wear in the summer (I have the men's too Gallegos waders and love them). Unfortunately these waders have been extremely poor quality and have leaked since day 1. I sent them back to patagonia for repair and received them back only to find that the my still leak. The entire crotch seam is bad and leaks enough to completely soak me (even after warranty repair). Don't waste your money. Unfortunately the womens waders are not of the same quality the men's are.

i tried these on vs the 2018 simms g3 guidestockings for which i have three other sets. In theory i want to own a set of patagonia waders as just about everything else i own is — however these just don't fit me right. i'm 5'8 190 with long legs and a short waist and large bottom — the XL full fit but the legs are a little long and the booties too big. The deal breaker was that they are just so damn noisy compared to my g3s, and since i do a lot of smaller stream stalking that made me nervous. also as others have said the drop waist feature needs some work. i could get them down OK but getting them back on was a chore. i can't imagine doing that in a downpour! Please patagonia... make waders that fit us bigger and curvier ladies too!

I love the fabric (very durable, excellent for waterproof--booties have never wet through, awesome features--adjustable, watertight internal access chest pocket and exterior chest one, great articulation if you size them right--be sure to move around and bend-zee-knees when trying on, nice color and looks flatter a really great design cut. The attached bootie tends to be a little big (I'm 5'10" and purchase Lg, have 9.5 shoe size and could use a smaller bootie/sock but they work fine anyway in my amazing Patagonia Ultralight Sticky wading boots purchased at the same time). I've been winter fly fishing here in Utah in some cold rivers and am still dry and warm after a morning/afternoon session. I tried on some other great brands for comparision but still stayed with my first love---this Patagonia Spring River Wader.

My wife loves these waders. They offer tons of dexterity, warmth, and comfort within a reasonable price point. When you combine this w/ Patagonia's fantastic warranty, you have yourself a great pair of waders at a medium price. Fit true to size w/ the M/Reg booties being great for a size 8 shoe. Bonus is the slide-down feature of the upper-chest area for warmer days and/or easy access and you've got yourself a winner!

Mediums work great for me (I have larger than average quads, glutes). I will say the socks are a little larger than I'd like for my size 8 wading boots. Love being able to slide the top down to waist level to help regulate temp when it's hot. No complaints here.

Bought these for my girlfriend and she loves them. She is 5' 2" and petite, so we ordered the small petite. The legs were a little long for her but they were still comfortable.

Well, a few things: I'm 5'5 and curvy with a size 8 foot and a size 9 wade boot, so I ordered an XL Petite. Paid the 1 day shipping and received as promised. Waders very long, and neoprene sock had an extra 2" of material and barely fit in my boot with no room to move. The clincher for me was the clip for the straps, it's in the BACK of the waders, super awkward and not practical. The straps going to the front, have no clips and are not the removable, kind that clip in. There is a plastic piece where you can tighten the straps, and it hit at my armpit which would be annoying for my casting. Additionally, to tighten the top of the waders, there are an elastic pull and toggle, again, hitting this time under my arm and uncomfortable. I had high hopes, but will go with my old standby Simms wader. Btw, received a lovely voice mail and email from the Flyfishing expert at BackCountry. I love the customer service!

I got these for a friend for Christmas, she hasn't got out in them yet but she said they fit great and are light on the shoulders compared to other waders she's had. She is a bit on the shorter side of the scale and the small/petiteworked perfect.

I ordered a Petite in Small. I am 5 ft short, actual inseam of 28.5 inches. The petite is stated as fitting a person with an inseam of 30 inches. Having owned another competitor brand in Small with a stated inseam of 29-30 inches, I thought I could get away with the small difference of 1.5 inches. This is not the case - Patagonia Petite is sized for up to 5 ft 4 inches and caters for the taller end of Petite. I measured the actual inseam of the wader from bottom of the heel to the crotch - that is 35 inches, vs 33 inches in the competitor wader. From the crotch to the top of the front bib is 22.5 inches - vs 18 inches in the competitor's wader. Hope this is of some use to height challenged persons like me. I also hope that Patagonia can list the minimum height for this wader so that customers can make an informed choice.

Recently picked up these waders for my lady as she needed to replace her Redington Willow River waders that sprung a leak after a year's use. At 5'2" she picked the medium regular fit waders and is happy with the fit. She has enough room to move around and climb over rocks without getting a wedgie and can wear layers underneath on colder days. The booties aren't too massive and fit well in her boots. She commented several times on how nice the materials are compared to her old waders. Patagonia says the outside pocket is waterproof, but I probably wouldn't recommend putting anything that you want kept completely dry in case of a slip in the river. The sealed pocket inside would be a better option for storing a phone or keys.

I bought these for my wife who is new to fly fishing and who loves fishing and also wants to feel feminine as opposed to wearing MC Hammer pants made from a trash bag. She is very slender and the XS waders were perfect. The silhouette was flattering (as waders can possible be) while providing all the range of motion she craved. The fleece lined handwarmers are a great touch and she was instantly commenting how useful they to take the edge off after taking your hands out of the cold river. The booties fit wonderfully and the merino lining is a nice touch for warmth and comfort. Overall, she loves wearing these waders and feels great in them. More couples fly fishing trips as a result of this purchase.

I can't tell you how much I love these waders. They fit like a dream without making you look like you have the dreaded "droopy wader butt." My favorite feature is probably the drop down/convertible straps. The bib on the waders can be lowered and you can wear them as pants. I'm definitely not a stick, but I can still fit 2 sometimes 3 layers of varying degrees of thickness under these waders with room to spare. These are cool enough to wear in the summer with a tank top and warm enough to wear in even the brutalest of winter weather. The quality is phenomenal. I have worn these through extremely thick brush, fallen more times than I can count, slid down rock hills and worn them in the saltwater and have had only 1 small pinhole leak so far.
