This vest can be used outdoors or in the city. I love how you can ombine it with almost anything. Super comfy and fits great!

I’ve had several of these over the years and love the simplicity of the vest. Its more of a Casual piece of insulation for me and generally dont use this on technical adventures as its too bulky to pack. I needed a new vest recently due to a cast on my arm and I wasnt going to sacrifice a sweater to stay warm. So, I went for the one Ive had in the past and picked up a new one less than 3 months ago. Sadly, it seems to be pilling up more than what I remembered from past garments...disappointing for $80 Patagucci.

This vest is one of the best pieces of outerwear I've ever owned. I've worn it to faculty meetings, to church, out to a bar, and out to dinner with my wife. You can easily dress it up or dress it down however you'd like. It's soft and warm, perfect for winter here in the south.

This vest was everything I wanted: simple, classic style, and warm. Synchilla fleece produced from recycled material was a plus. After just several weeks of light-duty wear around the house, however, the fleece was pilling considerably; pretty disappointing for a $79.00 garment described by Patagonia's website as having an anti-pilling finish. I returned the vest, hoping for better wear from a different Patagonia product. Recommendations? For style, fit and warmth, five stars, but only three overall for poor material wear.

I love this vest, and I will probably use countless times over the next few years. That being said, it doesn't compress down for backpacking. It took up tons of room in my pack and was a little on the heavy side. Great product, just not for backpacking.

This vest is the perfect weight of fleece for layering. Keeps you warm on those brisk fall days. Fits true to size and will last a lifetime.
