These pants are comfy soft (not the scratchy wool my mom used to dress me in as a kiddo), and the short length pairs great with my ski socks to reduce the chances for wrinkles or extra bulk in my ski boots! In the winters, I tend to do a lot of uphilling, and these pants offer great breathability when combined with the ventilation zippers on my ski pants. No super sweaty legs after a long bootpack! At the end of the day (lounging back at the cabin or at home), I find that I just keep these pants on - they're just so comfortable! I have the blush blend and haven't had any issues with them being "see-thru." I would recommend sizing down, as they run larger (and do loosen up a bit with use). I am a member of the Ortovox team and have been given this product to test and use.

Ortovox gifted me with this item to test and review. I am new to skiing so I didn't understand why I would want a Capri length baselayer at first since I generally use longer baselayers as pajamas while backpacking. Then I discovered the special torture device known as rental ski boots. I could barely buckle them around my calf and having nothing but a thin wool skiing sock where the boot buckles made it MUCH easier. That was a lot to say that the 3/4 length is perfect. They kept me nice and warm under my goretex pants in some pretty awful PNW storms. I only started to barely feel the chill after some longer lift rides. The grey color is a little see-through, which made changing in and out of snow pants a little awkward at times, but nothing bad enough that I still don't reach for them every time I go skiing. They also stretch out a bit with use so size down if you are unsure!

Full disclosure, I’m on the ORTOVOX athlete team so they gifted me this baselayer. That said: I can’t recommend these pants highly enough. They’re lightweight, breathable, and super soft. The 3/4 length is great for not interfering with higher ski socks. I don’t think they add a ton of warmth, but are perfect for sweating in under shell pants on a ski tour, or for being comfy in while lounging on a hut porch. I love ORTOVOX’s commitment to producing these pants as sustainably as possible, so in addition to wearing cloud-fabric, you can feel good about its impact.

These were given as a gift and she says they are very comfortable. She loves the 3/4 length which is perfect for skiing/snowboarding as well as biking in cooler weather. Even though it looks like the knees are reinforced in the pictures, they are the same thickness as the rest of the bottoms so I guess it's just a style thing? They fit well and are true to size.

Got these for my wife. She says they're quite comfortable, but she thought the color wasn't quite as vibrant as pictured. They also run a bit large (so if in doubt, size down). That said, they're quite warm and comfortable, great as a base layer or just lounging around in the winter.
