The NRS Otter Series Raft is the perfect companion for your river adventures, whether you're spending a day on the local rapid or heading out for a weeklong expedition in a remote canyon. Compact enough to maneuver tight sections of river, but still large enough to carry the hefty gear needed for multi-day trips, the Otter Series Raft is the perfect combination of convenience and capacity.

It's designed with seating for six to nine paddlers, and also offers room for a third thwart thanks to the NRS BAT system. The high-grade Pennel Orca material is abrasion-resistant to stand up to rocky river bottoms, and has been treated to be chemical- and UV-resistant for long-term durability. HD40 floor armor on the tubes adds extra ruggedness to the raft, and the three main tube air chambers provide the necessary buoyancy in the event of an accident.

The self-bailing floor drains quickly and effortlessly, while Leafield C7 valves make inflation and deflation a breeze. Four handles make for easy put in, take out and portaging, and twelve stainless D-rings provide plenty of tie-down spots for all your gear. Whether you choose to paddle it as is or attach a rowing frame, the NRS Otter Series Raft is ready to take you out on your next great adventure.

great boat...have it set up for a fishing rig and the size is perfect for the river size I have been fishing. which is the gunnison in CO. Rides high, maneuvers well and is great for 3 anglers.

I have run these boats in all types of water. I have used both the 13 and 14ft versions of this boat all the way from 95-4500 cfs. Boy these boats are tough as nails. I have seen Otters take many many years of commercial use, these boats simply kept on truckin'. The Otter's have a tad smaller tubes than a boat like an NRS expedition, making them great for technical whitewater as well as fishing. Otter's vs. an NRS expedition of similar length is much more nimble and would be my personal choice a do-it-all boat. The only area where other boats will outperform an Otter is very big, crunchy water... Let me know if you have questions like: How will this perform on my local run? What Oar Frames will fit this boat? Can I fish from this boat?
