The NRS Green Knife is excellent for any freshwater boating or camping adventure because its compact size means it can slip into virtually any pocket. The stainless steel blade features a blunt tip so the knife won't accidentally stab through your tent or raft, and the edge has smooth and serrated sections to help you cut through a variety of objects. The glass-reinforced polypropylene handle utilizes a TPR over-mold to give you a good grip, and it features a bottle opener, a stainless steel clip, and a hole for a lanyard so you can tie it down in the boat.

This knife is a cool little knife but is smaller than I expected. It's about as long as a dollar when open. I have small hands, but this is a little too small for my intended use as a river knife. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the green scales on the knife are a rubbery texture which would help stay in your cold wet hands!

Use this as my back up river knife. It lives in my zippered pocket on my PFD. Stays sharp, super grippy, no rust. All the things you want from your secondary river knife.
