This was a gift from my wife, and she is loving it! An upgrade from previous lighter waterproff jackets that failed on us when mother nature decided we were not worth it of summiting a couple 13 thousand peaks. We moved on to this jacket and she used it for summiting Cayambe and Cotopaxi (16k+) in bad weather conditions. Still dry at the end of the day and she says it is also super breathable. She is petite and we got S size initially but it didn't fit her curvy anatomy, had to move to M. Size it up if you are using it with layers

I bought xs size which is my usual size. I could wear lightly padded jacket and fleece underneath. If I bought S size, the fit would not be good in warmer days. I am very satisfied with slim fit and vivid red color. And good price!

What a stellar all season jacket! I am 5'4 120 lbs, broad shoulders, athletic build, and the small is perfect! It works great with layers, such as base layer paired with a fleece jacket or puffy, without feeling constricting. The arms are longer, which is also a plus and makes this jacket usable for different types of activities, such as backpacking and cycling, and the high pockets are usable while carrying my Osprey pack. The hood fits well over multiple types of helmets, including my snowboarding and cycling helmets, and shields the rain when I wear it with a baseball cap. I purchased the Crimson Kick colorway, and love it! Nice and visible!! Overall great purchase and I look forward to taking this jacket on every adventure for years to come!

This jacket is a life saver. I wore it in a rain and hail storm in Grand Teton and it kept me completely warm and dry. It doesn’t pack down as small as some jackets, but I was still able to take it backpacking without feeling cramped for space. The sleeves are long – which is great for keeping your underlayers dry.

I bought this jacket for a trip to the Lofoten islands. Figured this would be the place to put it to the test. This jacket came everywhere with me. It's lightweight, breathable and yet feels indestructible. I know this is likely advised against, but I even used it as a sled to slide down a snow bank on my butt. Need I say more.

recommend size up if you want to fit a puffy under comfortably. Sleeves are quite long and wide at the end to accommodate gloves, but have velcro so can be adjusted to wear without, though not as clean as I'd like. Hood is excellent and works well with or without helmet and when fully zipped offers near complete coverage of the face without loosing visibility. Coat back is long enough to keep covered when bending. Material is very light and moves well and packs down. I use this as my shell when skiing and plan to use it backpacking any season.

Very well made jacket and lovely color. I bought it for skiing. However the XS I ordered does not allow layering. Too bad .

I wear this jacket over the Norrona Falketind Warm 1 Fleece and it's the perfect combo. It keeps you warm and dry in all weather conditions. A lot of reviews say the jacket runs small but I found it to be true to fit. I got a size small in both the fleece and jacket.

I needed a waterPROOF shell, and ordered both this jacket and an Arc'teryx Beta SL shell. I kept the Norrona over the Arc'teryx for a few reasons........ It has pit zips, bigger pockets and an internal pocket, and a better hood than the Arc'teryx did. I also liked the longer and wider sleeves on the Norrona, and it truly has kept me bone dry in downpours. If you're looking to use it as a winter shell also, or if your in between sizes, I would size up. I am usually a size small, but went with the medium for this so I could layer and use it all year and it was a good choice even if the sleeves are a little bit long. I love this jacket!

Our most versatile all season waterproof and breathable jacket. Light enough to be perfect for summer use and durable enough for winter use. This jacket is developed for all kinds of mountaineering activities. Made of a special developed GORE-TEX® fabric with a slightly brushed and comfortable backer and high RET 5 breathability. The cut of the jacket is on the shorter side, with critical features such as long underarm vents, above harness pockets, storm hood fitted for helmet and asymmetric cuffs for better weather protection.

I ordered for my step daughter. Excellent quality. Runs very small. We had to exchange for a larger size so keep in mind when layering. Overall though very stylish and functional.

I'm normally a small, but I got this in a large and use it as my ski jackets. It's a little lighter weight than your average ski jacket, so you have to layer under it. I love it - light weight and the wrist cuffs easily fit over your gloves! Good looking coat.

I ordered this jacket for my sister. By the way the picture looks, I thought it was RED. It is definitely ORANGE. This is ok but she was looking for a red jacket. All in all she loves it. For colder days, she wears a down sweater due to it not being an insulated jacket. Great quality!!

We love the jacket, but it was a little smaller than expected. I had to return it and order a large. Regardless, it's a great looking jacket!

This is my first Norrna jacket and I am very pleased. As a taller woman (6'), this is the first jacket I have ever owned that truly fit me in the arms. As others have noted, it does run very slim, but this made it work very well when wearing packs - no bunching with or without layers underneath. It kept me dry throughout a week of (wet) camping in Alaska - and I got compliments on the jacket the entire week. My only complaint is that I had to readjust the velcro on the wrists as they didn't tend to stay especially well.

I use this jacket in torrential downpours and it keeps me dry. I use it in combo with a wool or cashmere sweater when it's especially windy and cold. A few critiques, though - the hood fits neither under nor over a bicycle helmet very well. For someone who's slim, the sleeves are really long and clunky to adjust. I wish the inside pocket were big enough to fit a wallet or phone more comfortably. I got the orange and I also wish it didn't stain so easily, but I got mud and grease on it from a couple of crazy rides, and it looks like those marks are here to stay.

This is shell is great! It fits true to size, the arm length runs long and the fit is flattering. I live in SE Alaska and we have been hammered with snow and rain, and this shell is a lifesaver. I wear several layers underneath and stay warm and dry. The construction of the jacket is top quality, and light. Don't know how I lived without it!!! :)
