These Mountainsmith X Chris Burkard products are just fantastic, and they seem to have thought of everything. I've used the Tanuck 40L, the Tanack 10, and this Kit Cube, and all of them are fantastic. The Kit Cube is the perfect size for taking on small photo excursions, or to sling over your shoulder after you set up camp. I was able to fit my Sony a7 and a medium sized 16mm lens easily within the main compartment, and the side pocket fit my polarizer, step up ring, remote shutter, and cable to charge the camera. And even stuffed completely full, the Kit Cube easily squeezed through the top of my backpacking backpack. That way I can camp for 2 or 3 nights, and not have to have my camera pack over my shoulder as I hike. It feels super durable, and the pocket comes with a lens cleaning cloth attached, which would come in handy if you left yours at home. The top of the Kit Cube has a huge draw-string opening which makes it super easy to keep your camera accessible, but protected. I recommend all of the Mountainsmith Camera Packs, but if you need just a small case for a camera and 1 lens, this one is hard to beat.
