The Trion collection consists of Mammut's versatile range of backpacks built for trekking and mountaineering, and the Trion 50L Backpack is the second-largest pack in that backpack. Its Contact U Frame consists of cushy EVA and air channels for four-season ventilation. The waist belt is removable customized support if you're carrying a lighter load. There are external attachments for skis, ice axes, trekking poles, and even climbing ropes. The Trion 50L is compatible with hydration reservoirs, and there are multiple pockets to organize smaller valuables.

I love all the features on this pack! It has a lot of well-designed pockets and accessories. I particularly appreciate the separate front pocket (which is actually why I bought it) as I really appreciate having my winter backcountry gear accessible and not having to worry about digging for my shovel/probe. Only issue I find with the pack is the sizing. I'm 5'7". So, not particularly small, but the pack is designed for people with a larger torso. As far as I could tell, Marmut has packs better for smaller torsos, but not in this 50l capacity. So, I've made it work, but if you're tiny, try something different?
