Instead of exposing your skin to damaging UV rays this summer, protect yourself with the Summer Long-Sleeve Jersey by Machines For Freedom. This long-sleeve jersey features a standard fit that sits close, but without being skin-tight like race jerseys. The long-sleeve coverage and UPF 50+ rating ensure full protection on the sunniest days of the season when you're likely to burn in a matter of a few hours.

You're probably thinking this jersey will leave you soaked in sweat, seeing it's designed with long sleeves. However, you'll be pleasantly surprised to hear it's made with an ultra-lightweight synthetic fabric that pulls perspiration off your body where it can readily evaporate and cool your upper body. This means you'll ride hard all summer without succumbing to overheating or burning up after logging copious miles.

This jersey is beautiful - the colors are amazing (jade green) and the print is lovely. It is extremely well-made with seams in the perfect places to create a flattering silhouette. The size helper recommended an XS, but I purchased and plan to keep the S. I am 5'8", 132 pounds, 33" bust, 28" waist, 37" hips. This is snug on me, but not compression. I wanted it to have a bit more length than I imagined the XS would have. It is too light weight to wear solo in temps in the low 50s, but I think on days in the high 50s and up, it will work beautifully. The zippered pocket is super handy for my car key when I drive to a ride. The jersey pockets hold all my nutrition and a folded jacket. The zipper glides easily. I wish I could wear this in my every day life. LOVE! The only beef I have is that is gets stinky quickly. I have to wash after each wear. Thankfully, the fabric dries quickly!

Excellent fit and fabrics plus modern designs that are feminine without being over the top. Chapeau, MFF. You get me.

Heart eyes emoji! I love this jersey so much. I love it, especially for those longer weekend rides. It is the only jersey I want to wear. I plan to purchase it in more colours! I have convinced some friends to buy this jersey as well and they all love it. I also stan for the brand :) The fabric is so stretchy and yet supportive. I don't know how they do it. I think it fits true to size if you follow the chart. Expect that it will feel snug.

Check out my reviews on MFF bibs and the wind vest ( MFF0001 and MFF0008) to read more on why Machines is such a great brand. I'll try to keep this review to just about this jersey. Being a California-based brand, Machines understand the need for sun protection throughout the hottest months. This jersey is incredibly lightweight so you won't overheat even when the temps spike. The tailored fit keeps the jersey close to wick away sweat. Few things make me feel like as much of a bad b**** than when I pair this jersey with the Machines bibs. I'm almost positive that I become a better rider. I do know that my swag goes up significantly and I want to ride further which seems like more than we can usually ask from our kits. All the guys in the office are jealous of what this brand has to offer. Time to treat yourself!

I ride daily & struggle all spring & summer with the dreaded tan line problem!! I also hate sunscreen, but it's a necessary evil. perhaps no more :) enter the summerweight long sleeve from MFF. I will also add that i hate being hot. This jersey is soooo silky smooth & beautiful I love any company that can marry sensible function with beautiful fashion! I bought the blue (available on the MFF website) as well. I do struggle with size, as I am always on the high end of xs and low end of small. I weigh 121 5'4" 32" bust 35 1/5 hips and I ended up keeping the xs. I could have worn the small too & in a perfect world (& maybe this one "wink") i would own both sizes! the xs is sleek & racy, perfect for the road bike but the small is a little more forgiving and fits slightly more comfortably around the neck. a little for roomy for my xc mtb !!
