I typically don't camp or backpack with a pillow, but I decided to give it a shot. My first impression is that this is much larger than I was expecting. That isn't necessarily a bad thing because it stays super tiny until inflated. I'd say for a little bit of extra weight, it is definitely worth having. It isn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but it is super adjustable and accommodating for however, you like your pillow. It definitely works better than my old technique of wadding up my dirty clothes or a hoodie in an attempt to get some sleep. This particular pillow has sort of a strange shape, but it just happens to work with my side sleeping habits.

I've always been a little hesitant about inflatable pillows but this wonder stood up to the hype! It was supportive, comfortable, easy to use and great on the pack weight and wallet!

Brought this backpacking on a climbing trip. Packs very small but the valve could be smaller to allow for better packability. The pillow itself is nice and big, so if you are one that needs lots of surface area this will do the trick!

Considering this thing basically weighs nothing and takes up no space in your pack, there's no reason to forgo a pillow (or worse yet, try to make a ghetto pillow out of your dirty clothes stuffed in to a bag) on your next backpacking trip. I found that the X shaped baffles did a nice job holding my head in the middle of the pillow. As with most inflatable pillows, this one is most comfortable if you inflate it so it's fairly soft - just enough to keep your head off the ground.

This was a great addition to a car camping trip. It packs down small and is pretty comfy. I would highly recommend this for someone looking for a good camp pillow.

I don't normally use pillows when backpacking, however I love being able to use a real pillow when car camping, so I thought I'd give this one a try! I took a one night backpacking trip and took this pillow with me. I was really impressed how small it packs down and it's super easy to inflate/deflate. The material on the outside was really soft and was not irritating against skin. The pillow is raised more around the sides and depressed in the middle, and when laying on my back, I felt like the raised part that supported my neck was a little too high. I am a side sleeper and I did find that it was more comfortable when it was partially deflated. I didn't really enjoy the pillow fully inflated, but deflated a decent amount I would definitely use this again.

First time using a camping pillow. This thing rocks. So small and so easy so you can take it anywhere. I have carried it with me in the car, on airplanes/airports and even taken it with me on the boat. It is so easy to blow up and comfortable!

I was excited for how big this pillow was for how small it packed. However, after 3 nights of restless sleep, I decided to give up on it. I found that the design of the triangular compartments created too much of a dip in the middle of the pillow, causing my neck to crank back too far for back sleeping. It was a little better for side sleeping but even that and playing around with different air levels, I couldn't get comfortable.

This pillow inflates to a respectable size, while still remaining incredibly packable. It's so small in fact, you can pack it inside a water bottle/jetboil/etc and it takes up no extra space at all! I agree with the other reviews that it's most comfortable when slightly deflated-- but I'm impressed with the practicality of this pillow while still remaining comfy. Nice one!

I am probably the easiest sleeper I know, I have no trouble falling asleep in any situation, temperature or position. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean some comfort isn't nice when available. I think this pillow is going to be a typical item in the packing list going forward, I seriously loved it. This pillow was the lightweight, space-saving option that I have always needed. If you have a full car of people and gear and don't want to bring along a whole pillow this is the answer. I typically prefer to sleep on my stomach, so I was initially concerned about the design. Fully inflated, this pillow is designed to cradle and keep your head in the center divot as you sleep on your back. However, I found if I left it slightly under-inflated, it worked perfectly for sleeping on my stomach. I did try it out fully inflated and sleeping on my back. If you're a back sleeper, you're going to absolutely love it. Klymit NAILS it on their sleeping pads and camping gear, and that's certainly the case here as well. I would recommend pairing this with the Static V2 Sleeping pad.

Camping pillows are a controversial bunch. Some people love them, some find them useless. I am in the latter camp, but use them to save bulk in the pack if I do not have enough clothing to make a pillow. This one is actually one of the best I have used, when it was 50% deflated. The pillow worked really well for me as a side sleeper due to its shape and profile. It would likely not help me sleep unless I was tired/drunk in a tent.

I usually don't backpack, so i am able to use a normal pillow. based on that- and this being my first time- I liked it- didn't love. It was a good support, but I wasn't ever comfortable using it.

Packs down small and offers enough support for a side sleeper. I backpack pretty light, but having a pillow is still a must for me. This thing let's me be comfortable at night with almost no added weight during the day.

If you're an ultra light backpacker but can not sleep without a pillow, than this pillow is perfect for you! I was so impressed with how well this packs down! It's the smallest pillow I have seen so far. When packing in by backpacking pack, I stash this pillow in my little wine tumbler. I found that I am more comfortable with this pillow when it is not fully blown up so I like to leave it a little deflated so that it is not so tall and stiff. The size of the pillow also fits well in the hood of my sleeping bag to prevent it moving around. And lastly, the little divot in the center of the pillow is great for side sleeping.

This pillow has a soft fabric that is cozy, and it packs down to the size your palm. I recommend not inflating it all the way or else it may be a bit uncomfortable, but it's easy to blow up and pack down. Perfect for backpacking, car camping, or air travel.

This pillow is easy to blow up, made with a soft yet durable fabric, and is really big! Like seriously, fits in your hand and then becomes a regular sized pillow. It's really quite something for backpackers and campers. It's 3.2oz, which might be a little heavy for serious thru-hikers, but there are worse ways to spend a little extra weight.

Packs up super small, easy to bring on any camping trip. Surprisingly comfortable and has a fleece type face fabric on it.

Pretty even air distribution which helps avoid that "ball or air" feeling under your head.

This pillow packs down so small that there is no reason to not take it everywhere. I was a sweatshirt ball pillow kind of camper until I held one of these. The stretch and design hold your head nicely, and keeps my spine aligned as I sleep. Game changer!
