I've used this shirt hiking in the desert with temps in the 50s while skiing with temps in the 20s so far. While hiking they were able to breathe and insulate I was at the perfect temperature alternating with just a fleece the whole time going from sunlight to shadows with the dramatic shifts in temperature that that came with. While skiing I didn't get overheated while skiing down or too chilly while riding the chairlift with a midlayer and shell jacket. I've washed them a couple of times now and they're held up well so far in the wash. I can't recommend this long-underwear shirt enough! It's also badass that it's a woman run company and that they have such a focus on sustainability.

Wore this twice and washed once on the gentle cycle and the sleeves are full of tiny holes.

Another great Kari Traa piece! I’be got so many of their baslayers and they never disappoint. They are all are warm, durable, and breathe great. My favorite part is they also look great! The patterns and designs are so unique and flattering, they look great from the ski slopes to apres.

I wore this as a baselayer while skiing. It's not only warm, it wicks away the sweat. I was never cold. And it's colorful and stylish. Just love it!

I typically only stick to synthetic fabrics for my baselayers, as I find wool too itchy. However, the pattern on this top is super cute, so I decided to give it a try. While it was not exactly what I was looking for, and I returned it, this top did seem pretty soft and comfortable for wool. I mainly returned it for the fit... I was looking for something a little tighter in the torso. The was not loose, but not tight either. I thought about sizing down, but I think it would have ended up being too short in the torso/arms.

Soft, pretty, and practical! I love the color and pattern, the fit is great, the sleeves are nice and long and I love the thumb holes. The weight is just right for a cold day, and can fit well with other layers if it's really cold.

LOVE this piece so much. It has dri-release in it, which is super important for me in the backcountry as I sweat a lot more. I never overheat in this or get too cold. It has a brushed fleece on the inside which makes it super comfortable when next-to-skin. I've had a few other Kari Traa baselayers, which are my favorite, but this is the piece I wear the most! Highly recommend.

This is my absolute favorite top for high-endurance mountain adventures. I use this layer every day splitboarding. The wool wicks moisture while still keeping me warm. It's taken me years to perfect my base layer game and Kari Traa has proven to be the best! I love that this top keeps me warm and still breaths. I tend to get sweating while skinning and cross country skiing - this top wicks it all away and I'm never left feeling wet, cold or smelly after an epic cardio adventure. LADIES - if you skin or XC Ski you have to get this layer - total game changer! I can't wait to use it this spring and fall during my summer hikes and camping adventures!
