You don't need to stop running your favorite trails during winter when Hillsound's Trail Crampon Ultra assures traction on icy, hard-packed snow. This superlight crampon uses small, stainless steel spikes to prevent slipping when you're sprinting over black ice and other slippery terrain. The elastomer harness ensures a secure fit that still allows the same mobility you're used to. Hillsound added a hook-and-loop strap to keep the fit secure from mile one to infinity.

I've used this product for over 2 years now in everything from hard packed snow to severe mud. Works for everything, holds up well, and fits multiple shoes nicely.

Fits pretty much any shoe and provides ample grip on snowy trails or in muddy conditions. I've worn them for winter running as well as in extreme mud on the Barkley course.

I've used these one for a year and recommend this on icy and packed down trails (not so much knee high snow). They replaced a cheaper variation form a different brand that would keep breaking and they are holding up much better! They are light enough to carry and slip on and off once you get used to them (I suggest standing and crossing your foot over your knee like a figure 4). Size down if you are in between sizes. A life saver if you are on trails where everyone else is sliding around! I would take these off if you are hiking for awhile on rock though.

I am replacing my Kahtoola microspikes with these, I hope that having the middle stabilizer will keep them on my boots. Microspikes are essential for winter hiking and have saved me so many times. Can't wait to try the Hillsound spikes, now bring on the snow!

I have taken these on countless trips to wear and as a precaution when running and hiking in the winter. In the local crew that I run with these are a must have in the backpack on trail adventures for when you hit the snowline. These have really expanded my running season and I have to say I can't fault them for quality, durability and effectiveness!

Purchased these to use over high mountain passes along the JMT, where there's still snow and ice. Worked perfect. Spikes really grab. One area of concern is you really have to pick up your feet and be conscious of foot placement. Do not slide or drag your feet when you walk or spikes could cause you to trip.

great quality product for hiking on compact snow. I've used these for both hiking and trail running and they performed great. Much more grip than other crampons I have tried. Really liked the velcro strap over the instep too. Definitely made the crampons feel secure.
