Designed to hold up through your most epic adventures, the Haglöfs Men's Rugged Flex Pant is a rugged, hard-working pant that can keep up with tough treks while protecting you from the elements. Whether you're on a peak-bagging mission or backpacking deep into the wild, the stretchy Climatic fabric allows comfortable movement, and FlexAble knee and seat reinforcements beef up durability without restricting mobility. The fluorocarbon-free DWR finish repels light rain and muddy splashes without harming the environment, and this pant is also bluesign-approved, meaning construction of it was certified to be easier on workers and the environment. Tapered legs won't snag on branches and brambles, and the adjustable hems let you hike up the legs securely when you're biking or stumble upon an irresistible bouldering problem you just have to climb.

I have to agree with the other reviewers who have described these as skinny jeans. The material is nice and flexy, but was so tight round my legs I had to return them. I don't like the skin tight feel or look, but might work for you if your body type matches the design. Otherwise look to Fjallraven, or similar tough outdoor pants.

I am not one to write a review, but these pants have done it all for me. From ice climbing around Silverton and Ouray to endless days alpine climbing in the Sierra, this things have been my go to pants for climbing and hiking. I never expected them to be as great as they are, but they are extremely comfortable, durable, and breathable. The fit is an athletic one, more like a skinny jean then a bulky snow pants. Would recommend to anyone who likes a more tight fit for pants.

Not sure if it’s me or if it’s just the European style. These pants fit like a pair of skinny jeans. Not a fan of a man wearing skinny jeans but if you’re going to wear them. Keep it to the city and not out on the mountain wear you need a little extra room. I bought a pair that fit right in the waist but we’re too tight on the legs. Returned them and went with two sizes larger thinking I can deal with a little extra in the waist. Turns out the waist was like a bucket around me and the pant legs were still clinging to my legs. I still believe they are great pants but don’t fit like I need them to.

Finally I have found a pair of outdoor pants that pushes me to reach my limits in the great outdoors. They way that the stretch part of the pants works is just amazing. I truly love to have more flexible parts around my thighs and also on the back. The tighter fit over my shins is great when you walk in tall grass or bushes. I can recommend these for everyone one that wants a pair of flexible and breathable pants.

Rugged and Flexible There pants are really nice do it all pants. I like hikinging in these, doing yoga in these, if I had a motorcycle I'd ride it in these. They are really comfortable, but size up. I can wear the medium confidently, but they will be tighter than most men prefer. I like the Large more because it gives you a more relaxed fit than a skinny jean fit. I am 5'11 and 180 just for reference. Get a pair and enjoy!
