It's definitely a nice looking shirt, and I could see it filling a need for backpacking/hiking but the fabric is not resistant to pulls at all. If you want a shirt to wear casually this is perfect, if you're hoping to use the shirt for any sort of outdoor activity I could see it falling apart quick.

Quick drying ploy fabric is great for being in and around water and everything in between. If you are looking to cover up in the sun while not over heating this is a must have.
