Yes, indeed, the sizing is men's, but once you get the right size the shoe is comfortable and fun right out of the box. I use it to jump on and off the bike while coaching middle school mountain biking - mostly for days on the grass when we are working on skill drills. Have ridden some short trail loops as well and they do pretty good considering I don't have flat pedals. Cool looking on and off the bike, I can easily run errands in these Five Ten's after practice too.

These were at least two sizes too big and must be men’s. I wear a women’s 8.5. Will be sending back.
