When you need a duffle with some style, history and personality, this is it. Owned it for 5 years before finally passing it on to a friend. It has classic looks and is incredibly rugged. Most important, is that I sent it back to Filson twice for repairs and they did an amazing job of repairing it for a nominal fee. Two criticisms of this bag: (1) the bottom rails are particularly prone to breaking off or cracking, and (2) the bag is completely unstructured on the inside which is perfect if you have packing cubes or sets of wet dry bags. Know what you are planning to use this duffle for and it will serve you for years.
