Amazingly comfortable harness--I even wrote a happy review before! That said, the gear loops are designed very poorly. There's hard plastic forming the shape of the gear loop, but it's only connected to the harness by a thin sheath. That sheath is worn on all four of my loops and it's a ticking time bomb until it tears and half my rack comes falling onto my partner's head. This can be a fatal flaw! I've seen the same issue on my friend's Solaris harness too. Edelrid needs to redesign their gear loops.

the small fits so perfectly, expands just enough to rise over my massive ass and thights, cinches waistwise more than any harness ive tried (a little unsnug but i can wear a jacket under it), brings great peace of mind and there's no sensation of strapdig.

I ordered the small but should've gotten the extra small! I wear a size 6 pant, am 5'6" and 148#, waist 28.5, hips 38.5, thighs 22.5. The colors are amazing on this harness! I love how quick I can get in and out of it. Plenty of gear loops and the air vents in the waist and legs were a great idea. I have the waist cinched all the way down but the leg loops have a little more room to cinch down more if I need to. I thought about ordering the extra small but was nervous since I haven't been an extra small since I was about 22! Haha

Climbing harness are usually an exercise in torture for me; I have a small waist and larger thighs which makes finding a comfortable fit difficult. However, this harness is AMAZING! It is so comfortable and I hardly realize I am wearing it half the time. The waist has a two-part adjustment which helps to dial in for a better fit at the waist and the larger leg loops keep if from pinching when hanging or belaying. The mesh helps make it breathable so you don't have those unfortunate sweat bands when you take the harness off. I haven't taken it outside yet so I can't comment on how it handles when hauling gear for sport or trad, but high marks for the gym. I am 5'4", 150lb and bought a small. I agree with the other reviewers that the harness runs big.

Several of my friends have this harness, so I thought I'd try it out. I was tired of my BD harness loosening every pitch and hurting before the end of the day. That said, the sizing of this harness seems universally too big. I'm 5'4", 125 lbs and I fit the XS (I got both sizes and have to return the S). I'm typically a S in all other cases and I even measured myself since I had heard this harness runs big. I haven't tried it out yet, but I'm assuming it'll be better than my last harness. I guess if you're around my size, get an XS?
