The DMM Alpha Carabiner is light, strong, and ready to clip your rope so you can continue your climbing adventures. Its I-beam construction cuts unnecessary weight without decreasing the Alpha's overall strength, and a deep secure rope basket ensures excellent handling and easy clipping. The hot forged bent gate also assists with quick clipping, and the clean nose makes sure the carabiner doesn't clip the rope when your second is cleaning the route. DMM also added grooves at the back to give you a better grip when you're clipping.

Super nice action and it clips boats, and ropes very easily. Another impressive DMM biner.

I don't have much to say, other than DMM has officially won me over. Every product that I've owned of theirs is the utmost in quality and performance. The gate is nice, easy to clip, and the nose is great. Can't ask for more. Will continue to buy DMM, forever.

I think it is the best bent gate out there. Super light, sharp angle in the gate that catches the rope making clips easy, groves on the back making it grippy, clean nose of course, and great size with big gate opening. This is the gold standard by which all bent biners should be measured to.

I used one of these to make a better harness system for my Jetforce Airbag. The problem with the extra secure metal buckles that are used on the airbag packs is that they're a pain in the arse to get on and off. Multiple that by 30 on-off cycles for a day of heli/cat skiing and that's a very painful arse. Solution, a couple of rap rings and a DMM biner. It's got a nice wide open gate, keylock, purdy colour to match the pack and it's made in Wales just like my momma. Sorted.

I use these for the rope clipping end on my quickdraws for both sport and trad. The shape of the bend gate mades clips a breeze, honestly nothing better. The weight is decent and the clean nose keeps the rope from getting snagged, especially nice when you're following and cleaning a pitch.
