More research has been devoted towards the performance benefits of keeping the core cooler in hot conditions. Perhaps the best way to keep your engine from overheating is a constant supply of cool liquids while riding. With the Camelbak Dirt Series Podium Chill 21oz Bottle, you'll stay hydrated on your hottest off-road rides with a cool drink from start to finish with the added bonus of an integrated mud cap that keeps trail junk from contaminating the valve. Its BPA-free TruTaste polypropylene material is safer to drink from and it won't distort your drink's taste. And its double-wall construction with insulation keeps your beverage chilled twice as long as regular sports bottles. The Jet Valve cap, made of medical grade silicone, is spill-proof and self-sealing so the drink doesn't leave the bottle until you say so. The locking cap keeps the bottle from leaking while in your bag or the floorboard of your car.

This bottle is just like other Podium Chill options, but the decisive factor is the cap. Having ridden crazy amounts of gravel, dirt and adventure type miles with these. I love not having to worry about s#!t being all over the mouth piece.

This is the third version of a Podium bottle that I've owned, and the valve design doesn't seem as nice as the original. It takes more force to squeeze water through, and the switch to control flow is really stiff, but maybe it will loosen with time. The dirt cap is a great addition not just for mountain biking, but road biking as well. A lot of dirt and grit accumulates on the mouthpiece especially after you've just taken a sip, and the cap keeps it clean. I would have given this five stars if the dirt cap was more integrated into the design, instead, it looks like it was just added on the top, and may not stay after extended use.

Ordered for my wife's mountain bike as I loved the previous generation for mine. Only thing, this version is a bit longer than the previous and doesn't fit in either her frame or mine due to the shock. Check the lenght if you've got a full suspension to make sure its fits

I love the camelbak insulated water bottles. Great nozzle, dirt cap is awesome and it does a good job keeping my fluids cold on hot days. However, this bottle is a bit longer than some of the other water bottles I have used. For example, SZB0004 will fit in my medium 5010 but this bottle will hit the shock. Would LOVE to have a shorter version of this bottle
