Burton designed the Genesis Re:Flex Snowboard Binding with the goal of creating the most comfortable binding ever, while still retaining the power needed to satisfy the needs of Burton's team riders. Accomplishing that goal and then some, the Genesis combines anatomical design with suspension technology to deliver an incredible fit and excellent response, making it ideal for everyone from park slayers to powderhounds.

The Kickback Hammock highback uses a suspension system to cradle the back of your boot for immediate response on turns and reduced fatigue during long days. Advanced composites keep the baseplate lightweight, yet strong, and it offers a responsive feel for quick edge-to-edge transitions. FullBED cushioning soaks up shock from flat landings and choppy snow, and AutoCANT aligns your joints in a natural position to alleviate pressure on your knees and enhance ollie power.

A nylon strip running down the center of the Hammockstrap ankle strap gives you a direct connection to your board at all times, meaning your board instantly responds to your every command. At the front, the new and improved Supergrip Capstrap 2.0 locks down your boot securely without creating pressure points, so you'll never have to sweat about it slipping off mid-run. Double Take buckles have teeth on both sides to make clicking in faster and smoother, not to mention more secure.

Both high backs broke after 5 or 6 days of pretty average riding. I saw the right foot’s high back was cracked at lunch. I took two more chill groomer runs and when I took my board off I saw the left one totally broke off.

These bindings are by far the best I’ve ever experienced. Their support is unrivaled, and their comfort is no different. Not to mention, they look incredible. Although, despite how amazing they are, my first day using them, before noon, they had lost one of the rivets holding the highback hammock to the highback. Whether I was unlucky and got a defect binding or if this is recurring issue, I do not know, but worth noting. I did contact Burton that night, and they quickly shipped me a new rivet.

The Genesis Bindings rock! No pressure on the top of your feet, but super snug fit. The slots cut into the straps are all different sizes, and the attention to detail from Burton makes a big difference on those long days. Easy to get in and out of, and easy to adjust on the fly!

The Burton Genesis bindings are great . They provide a noticeable amount more support than bindings I’ve ridden In the past. The strap system also works amazing providing plenty of support with out too much pressure on the top of your boot.

A strong, responsive binding that hasn't sacrificed anything in regards to comfort. The moment I strapped into this binding I had a feeling it would be game changing and it did not disappoint, this will be my go to for years to come.
