The Black Diamond Men's Spark Pro Glove will be your go-to whether you're skiing pow in January or working up the willpower to skin up some refrozen ice early enough to harvest some spring corn. A Gore-Tex insert protects your paws from wet snow and spring slush while a durable goat leather exterior withstands wear from everything from ski poles, tow ropes, and ECT tests. The low-profile cuff fits under your shell's sleeves and can be cinched tight via the hook-and-loop tab to keep snow out.

These gloves are very stiff when you first get them but after a day of skiing, they started to soften up. Also, I was surprised by how warm these gloves are. You can tell they built these things to last.

I really liked the fit and design of these glove, but the suede on the pair I got was blue instead of black (like pictured). I definitely would've kept them if it wasn't for that. I ordered a large and they fit perfectly, with just enough room for the Black Diamond liner gloves. For reference, I measure exactly to a Hestra size 9. But need a size 10 in reality.

First off, I love these gloves! I have had the original Spark gloves for 3 seasons now, they have been awesome. Not the warmest gloves on the market, but for the price in this category, these gloves are awesome! I wanted them a little tighter fit so I went with a Medium, but a Large would have worked too. I usually wear a size 9 in other gloves.

I ordered these per the recommendation of my gearhead and WOW am I impressed. They fit great, are warm enough to be outside for hours at 0 degrees F and not so hot that you are hustling to get them off when you get inside. They have great articulation in the fingers when wearing them and have never felt like they hindered zipping up jackets or buckling helmets. They also seem to be very waterproof however I have not been outside when its been freezing rain or sleeting so I can only talk about how they work in the snow and they work great for that. I have scraped the gloves on rocks, hit many ski gates with them and also used them as knee pads on the slopes a few times and they still look brand new. The dark curry color is awesome and the cuff works great to keep snow and ice out of the gloves.
