Bought these for my wife who has poor circulation and suffers from easily chilled extremities. Tested these out skiing in Colorado in some extreme conditions and they performed perfectly. Her friends had to go in a couple of times to warm their hands but she stayed on the mountain with warm hands allowing her to get more runs in. We purchased these based on an independent (non-retailer) review and they lived up to the accolades. Very pleased.

I am returning a medium for a large and I have abnormally small hands. It was snug but I wear liners and there's no way they'd fit too. My son received a pair and wore them last year (frigid temps at Banff) and his hands were actually sweating. I have high hopes my hands will be warm this year too!

I bought these for my sister who has chronically cold hands when skiing. Not mitten has ever been warm enough until these ones. The mitten does have a divider for your index finger so it is separated from the other three fingers, but there is still enough room to put the index finger with the rest of them. I was a little worried that the cuff may be too big on these and bunch up with her jacket, the cuff is big, but so far she has not had any issues.

I was super excited for these. Purchased a L and they were REALLY comfortable.....except they have a liner inside that separates your index finger from the rest of your fingers (the purpose of buying mittens is to keep all fingers close together and warm :) ). It doesn't really serve a purpose, doesn't help w/dexterity, etc... I returned them, but if you are into liners, you'll love these.

I have chronically cold hands (and feet) and never thought I'd find a mitten/glove that would help - until now. These mittens not only pull my hands out of their permafrost state, they made them so warm, I had to warm up boyfriend's hands with my own. THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED! You, too, can have warm hands! It's possible with the BD Mercury mitten.

I have perpetually cold hands, and these are the only mittens I have ever owned that actually do the trick. I mostly backcountry ski, and throw these on at the top of windy ridgelines when my hands freeze in my normal gloves. The liner is super easy to remove, which is clutch when I'm touring for a few days in a row and need my gloves to dry in a short amount of time. I also love the huge cuffs on these gloves. They fit over your sleeves super well, so no cold air gets in at all! I have pretty long fingers and went with a size large in these.

I love these mitts! They keep your hands so warm. Took them out to Ouray for the ice fest and they instantly start warming up your hands. Didn't have cold hands the whole trip! The palms grip nicely and I used them several times going up/down steep hills holding onto frozen ropes.

I got these gloves for a friend of mine and she loves them! It's hard to find a glove that's rated to -40 and these gloves are super toasty. I even put my hand in them and with the insulation/ linear you get the best glove for the coldest of conditions. They might even be a little too warm for 30 degree ski days. You may loose the dexterity of a full finger glove but if warmth is your priority than these are the ones!

Very warm, semi-bulky but so worth it on those extra chilly days. My hands are usually frozen by the second run and I cant believe that they lasted for hours without feeling the cold winter nip!
