Works great in the winter on mixed routes. Now I have place to put my ice axe when I have to do some rock climbing. I keep my ice axe attached to my harness so my leash works perfect wih this holster.

Great tool holster. It is easy to attach, doesnt get in the way of gear loops and holds the tool. I use it while ice climbing, mountaineering and on big walls for the yo hammer.

Once you add a blizzard holster to your harness you wont take it off. I have climbed with a holster for years and seems that I am always using it. I climb alpine, ice, mixed, trad, big wall, and if Im feeling queer a little sport. This is a great add on to any harness.

I used to use these for my Vipers. Awesome stashing, much better than clipping top into an ice clip along with 5 screws. But once you have leashless tool with a fang on the bottom (Viper) and shrike they can be hard to get into the holster. I don't use them anymore.

When you need to stash the ice tools on a route these holsters work well. They weigh almost nothing and are never in the way when climbing . If you climb long routes and have never tried holsters , you need to buy a pair ! I had a hard plastic pair made by Troll , years ago in Wales and never climbed ice without them . Besides , it seems very American to have twin holsters for your tools !

Works great. Right size and tough enough to handle all my tools. Positions well on Petzl harness.
