Assos' Trail Short-Sleeve Jersey provides a refined fit, clean design, and technical materials that'll make it your go-to top on warmer mountain bike rides. It trades a bit of its aerodynamic cut that’s renowned on its road apparel for a design that gives you plenty of room for maneuvering in the saddle and is comfortable on epic trail rides.

The face fabric is its ultra-soft, interlocking circular-knit Triangle textile providing a lightweight, flexible material with 1-way stretch for vertical stability. Additionally, it breathes quite well, pulls moisture away from the skin, provides UPF35 protection against the sun's rays, and offers excellent printability. Ensuring you don't overheat in the exposed desert or in the humid canopy of a forest, Assos uses its all-new bi-stretch 3-Mesh with circular knit under the arms and at the collar for cooling airflow movement throughout the jersey.

The Trail Jersey uses Assos' trailFit, meaning its slightly trimmer than most mountain bike brands, however, it still provides plenty of range of motion on technical trails. It simply follows your body’s natural motions and is never restrictive. Shuttles, hot laps after work, bikepacking? The Trail Short-Sleeve Jersey has you covered.

The style is good looking. The size is perfect in the shoulders, around my midsection, in the length. I’m very pleased. I’d buy another, but it’s way pricey. Cheaper options are TLD and POC.

Assos did it, they took industry-leading fit, finish, materials, and performance from the road, and brought it to the MTB market. Fit is fantastic for a subdued look, less flashy than other brands, but having ridden many brands of jerseys on the MTB side, this is the BEST materiel and comfort I have ever worn. Definitely worth the money. My only gripe is lack of a small zippered pocket for either a phone or some snacks.

Assos used to use the tagline "sponsor yourself". That comes across in this clean, no NASCAR colors/logos/lines jersey. It's pretty simple but fits well. When I first put it on I noticed the slightly longer sleeve. It's not 3/4 because it does fit neatly above the elbow, but is just enough to provide protection from the sun and more-so branches, leaves as you ride singletrack how it was designed. It fits a little short on the torso (medium) which I would change to make longer because it can more easily ride up above your hip-pack.

All I can say is wow. I had ridden Assos road gear in the past, was always happy with the fit and function so when time to purchase new MTB gear, I figured I would give this a try. I purchased the Rally short, trail liner and trail short sleeve jersey. First impressions brought in by the packaging alone led me to believe I was in for a treat...really nice touch. Upon opening the packages, the feel and quality of the finish delivered. As good as it looked and felt, I immediately thought; "how good can it be?", then i put it on. The fit and overall comfort is incredible and on the first ride I literally forgot i was wearing anything. Luckily for other trail users, the clothes were really there. The waist bands are probably the nicest fitting and comfortable I've experienced, the jersey is both loose and snug in all the right places. I was left completely impressed and will definitely purchase more. Only thing to consider is sizing when buying this. I'm typically a U.S> medium in most everything, but I sized up to large and was good to go.
