The Werner Straight Shaft Ovation Two-Piece Paddle puts the pleasure back in paddling with its lightweight carbon shaft and blades. Werner's lightest and most efficient paddle, the Ovation's design is focused on comfort and ease of use, down to the last detail.

The Ovation features Werner's unique Smart View Adjustable ferrule, which not only makes assembling the paddle easier, but enables it to be adjusted to different angles to better align the blades with the natural rotation of your body. The mid-sized blades are suitable for most paddlers and feature a low-angle for versatility that doesn't compromise performance. The smooth back face of the paddle makes for a clean dig and makes stroke exits almost effortless.

Great paddle! I’ve only used it 3 times but I’m finding that the super light weight saves me from wear and tear shoulder pain and fatigue. Although pricey, it’s worth the investment and I love it for everyday use. That being said, I can’t give it a full five stars because I’m not sure of how durable it actually is and that makes me nervous to use it at times out of fear of damage. I’ve read online that it’s a bit more fragile and the Werner site seemed a bit vague to me as to what constitutes examples of use that would cause damage so I’m assuming anything outside of basic, straight forward recreational paddling. I’m not rough on my paddles but, I’ve been known to launch off with them, which I certainly wouldn’t do with this out of an abundance of caution. Still, it is a wonderful paddle!
