Been big fan of yakima stuff and new car meant new rack. Had great success for many years with the old round bars. For the new aero bars, need these mounts. Whole getup was easy to install (and get on/off) and setup works well for my rod rack and the cargo box. I'm sure its solid enough to take a grundle of bike mounts if put into duty that way too. Limited noise--i can't hear it anyway, but I rarely heard much with round bars and q towers anyway.

This is a great upgrade for our car. Now when we do long road trips we won't struggle wondering where to put our gear.

I havent installed a new rack system on the roof of my car in quite some time. Dang! This has gotten so much easier, easy install and the instructions are very clear. I paired these with the Yakima Jet Stream bars, took me less than 45 minutes to install everything. With the Fat Cat Evo 6, it makes for a very low overall profile .

Very easy to install and comes with it's own torque wrench tool so you know that they are on secure. I paired these with the JetStream cross bars and they look great.

Put those siderails to use and get your gear up on top of the car! These are super easy to install, feel very solid and well made, and provide a secure connection point to get your rack system started. They work with all of the Yakima bars, roundbars, corebars, and jetstream bars and the instructions clearly state how to easily use them with each different type.

Paired with Yakima Corebar, FatCat Evo 6, on a 2010 Subaru Forester. These things have a good weight to them and they feel solid. This is probably one of my favorite products by Yakima. Quality.

You cannot beat roof rack systems by Yakima. I needed the rails and tower system, and was not let down! They are quality made and easy to install. They even come with the tool needed to torquing things just right. Along with my Yakima box, it's a great system at a reasonable price. Paired with Yakima CoreBar Base Rack Bars

I paired these with the Core bar and the installation was very straightforward. My OCD tendencies probably lengthened the installation time because I was trying to line everything up to the millimeter but after I got everything perfect I am very happy with the product.

By far the easiest Yakima roof system I've installed yet. Love the Timberline system.

One tower came with a stripped/damaged bolt which damaged the receiving bolt hole attachment on the crossbar. Very annoying and poor quality control by Yakima. Backcountry was excellent with the return and replacement. Thx Backcountry!!!!!

We switched from a Mazda3 to Jeep Grand Cherokee. I wanted to easily bring over all my roof top carriers. Since I couldn't use the same towers that the Mazda used I needed to buy these. I didn't want to buy factory cross bars from Jeep because I have longer cross bars to fit multiple carriers at once. These were super easy to install and I've adjusted them once already. Easy to do in about 30minutes or less. They look good and are very durable. If you are using round bars, be sure to buy the adapters. http://www.backcountry.com/yakima-roundbar-sl-adapter#wall-solicitations I took my locks out of my old towers and put them in these, that way I didn't need to buy new locks.

Fit well with other yakima products, generally easy to install, despite directions, once on seems durable.
