I bought a pair of the 50" bars to use on my 2011 Prius and some Yakima towers/clips. There is some minor wind noise and my mileage has dipped a few mpg, but that was to be expected. No complaints.

One of the best in the business. Always putting quality first. Looks great on the top of any car and is functional too! I am able to haul my Jackson tandem kayak with ease.

New car meant new rack. Had great success for many years with the old round bars. These are a solid, modern variation of that. Works well for my rod rack and the cargo box. Limited noise--i can't hear it anyway, but I rarely heard much with round bars anyway.

Yakima never fails me!! The quality is awesome and the installation process is simple! The rack looks sleek and is quiet while riding which is a bonus. So far nothing but good to say about this product!

Love these bars! I have used both the round bars and Corebar, and I'll pick corebar every time. They are significantly more quiet and added surface area makes it easier when mounting on other attachments like a cargo basket. Definitely my number one choice when it comes to crossbars.

Does what it's supposed to. Another great product by Yakima. I got the 50in for my 2010 Subaru Forester. Fits great, paired with the Timberline Towers. Why spend more for the Jetstream, Aerobar, or Whispbar, when this literally does the same thing? Worth it. Still an expensive piece of stainless steel though. Does what it's supposed to. Would recommend.

You cannot beat roof rack systems by Yakima. I needed the rails and tower system, and was not let down! They are quality made and easy to install. Compatible with the rest of my Yakima products. While driving this rack is extremely quiet and has a nice clean look

I bought the large size for my '16 Subaru Forester. They extend to the width of the rear view mirrors on both sides. I plan on putting a variety of different combinations of ski racks/bike racks/cargo box on the roof so I bought a wider size than recommended. I paired them with the Timberline towers and the system works and looks awesome!

They're aerodynamic, lightweight and feel solid as a rock! Great buy and they look 100x's better than round bars.

Yet again, another quality product made by Yakima. This rack is very easy to install. From start to finish it took me under 2 hours. That is counting my guaranteed mess ups any time I try building something. You can use the Yakima Rack Configurator linked to this page to ensure you're getting the right cross bars, towers, clips, and/ or wind fairings. This rack is a lot more aero dynamic than the one I had on my previous vehicle. I will definitely be returning to Yakima for any future roof rack. Feel free to reach out directly to me with any and all questions. tbivins@backcountry.com or (801)204-4657

Easy to install despite the instructions skipping important steps and only shown through pictures. Otherwise I'm immeasurably satisfied with this set.
