Vittoria Morsa G Plus TNT Tire - 27.5in for Sale, Reviews, Deals and Guides

This is my favorite tire I have ridden from Vittoria. It rolls quickly and hooks up in the corners. The lower profile center lugs love going quickly and the large side lugs chow dirt any chance they get. This tire is an ideal rear tire if you ride in rocky or loose conditions. It offers tons of braking traction while remaining composed while cornering. Honestly, the only condition this tire doesn't excel in is wet rocks. Just like the Goma I have it paired with, I find it just couldn't maintain a line and was constantly slipping off. If it weren't for this I would have given this tire 5 stars. With a claimed weight of 890 grams I was pleased when I weighed my tire and it came in at 865 grams. Good work Vittoria!

PUNS! I like this tire, I have this mounted up on the rear wheel of my Yeti SB5. It seems like a slightly firmer tire compound that the Maxxis Highroller II which means it will last longer, and I feel like the corner lugs offer a little more support than the Highroller II. These are a higher volume tire than average so I like these at a slightly lower pressure, in the rear I am running at 27 psi and am pretty stoked on the results. All in all this is a pretty quick tire with plenty of bite for braking and cornering. I would give 4.5 stars if we did halves and only dock it half a star because I feel like it could be just a teeny bit softer compound.

These tires are a great higher volume option for standard rims. These measure out to about a 2.4-2.5 after they have been inflated for a few weeks. I paired this with the Goma tire in the front. Killer grip!

I've ridden them all. Schwalbe, Maxxis, Specialized, Conti, etc. The Vittoria Morsa matches punch for punch in all categories. As far as performance goes, this is a solid all-around contender for your trail, enduro, or all-mountain rig. The aggressive side knobs create a stable, predictable cornering platform providing inch-by-inch line choice accuracy. The lower-profile center knobs roll fast while their sharp edges provide confident stopping power when you wrench on the binders. The only facet I can't comment on is long term durability. That said, in the short couple of weeks I've had these tires, I've ridden Captain Ahab and The Whole Enchilada in Moab to the Wasatch Crest Trail in Park City, UT without issue. Rocks, roots, sand, and singletrack smooth as butter; the Morsa is a solid choice for a variety of conditions.
