Everyday is a trail day for you, which means you'll love the versatile performance of the Topo Athletic Terraventure 2 Trail Running Shoe. Whether you're running on dry single track in Colorado or slopping through the muddy trails of the Northeast, this shoe will get the job done and then some. Thanks to the Vibram rubber outsole you'll have traction in a range of surfaces and conditions, while the generously-spaced lugs shed mud and snow for all-season versatility. You've also got a flexible rock plate in the forefoot that keeps your foot protected from unexpected hazards, but won't limit your motion while you're charging up steep hills and bounding through uneven terrain. The newly updated breathable mesh upper features drainage ports for quick drying when you're pounding through puddles, and a roomy toe box allows your feet to splay out naturally for better performance on rapidly-changing surfaces. Finally, when you want to spend your weekends going long, you've got a dual-density EVA midsole and an Ortholite footbed for comfortable support over hours of running.

These were my first Topo purchase and I don’t think I’ll look at other brands anytime soon for my running shoes! I ran a half marathon in these right after getting them and did not get any blisters and my feet felt great. I especially appreciated the wide toe box and snug middle because my feet didn’t slide around, but didn’t feel cramped. The grippy bottom makes these shoes perfect for trails and I can run in confidence, knowing I won’t be slipping and sliding. They’re super lightweight, durable, and comfortable. Definitely my favorite running shoes of all time. So glad I found these!

Seems like a great shoe, but with sizing issues. Based on TopoAthletic size chart, I ordered the 10/42, since Backcountry didn’t have my usual US 10.5, hoping I could rely on the EU 42 to be the true size. Unfortunately, not the case, recommend ordering based on US sizing.

Love the fit and function of these low profile hiking/trail running shoes! They are subtle enough to wear to the gym, but boy do they pack a punch on trails! I really appreciate the larger toe box. The shaoe of the sole reminds me of the Altra footbed, but with more support and cushioning. The vibram soles, and agressive lugs, make this shoe my go-to for almost all my adventure needs. I've taken them on 10+ mile hikes, on varried terrain, and always found them to be trustworthy. They are really breathable, and dry fast. Comfortable, without sacrificing support. All around impressive shoe for most summer activities!

Stop looking at any other trail shoes and buy these shoes! I'd never heard of this brand and decided to take a risk given their incredible accolades from Outside, Runner's World etc. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. These things are like wearing amazing clouds on your feet. Unlike other trail runners, these are super lightweight and I actually wear them to the gym and to run in the city as well. They have really grippy tread you'd expect in a trail shoe, but none of the bulk. I've been telling everyone who will listen about these amazing shoes. Treat your feet! You won't regret it!

With a wide toe box, low drop (3mm), and snug heel, this shoe has a fantastic fit. And when paired with deep rugged lugs and a rock plate, this shoe is definitely able to handle the most gnarly conditions, rocks and trails. As a Topo Ambassador, I’ve put these bad boys through the wringer and they have yet to let me down. I also love that these are extremely lightweight and comfortable enough for long days in the mountains. Plus, the mint/tangerine color combo is great and I’ve received many compliments on them.
