These guys are a breeze with Thule's rack system. They hold snug and contour your roofline really well which is confidence inspiring. If you ever have any questions about what set you need check https://www.thule.com/en-us/us/fit-my-car and you'll be able to get your set up dialed in.

Yay! Now I have a roof rack on my little crv. Looking forward to hauling my paddle-board to the lake when the weather is warm!

These work really well. Make sure to install the provided endcaps or else they can start to rust a bit, as they are not stainless. They support my bike and ski rack and give me more room on the inside of my car.

Maybe it was just me... But i struggled with the install until I watched a youtube video of someone installing all the parts. It was incredibly easy after that! I struggled at first with getting the front two pieces to sit flush with my car, but it just took a little elbow grease.

I should've known that modern fit kits were incompatible with previous generations of Thule's towers but I bought these anyway in hopes I'd get lucky. Turns out I'll have to buy an updated Traverse pack. Just a PSA for those of you trying to use old school parts.

I ordered Kit 1511 for my 2014 Tacoma and they work great. The recommended weight limit is only 110 lbs total but that's plenty. This kit performs exactly as expected. This kit was used to install the bars on the cab, not the shell.

Went over to Thule's site to use their fit guide, which will show you the exact parts you need for your whip, and concluded that I'd need the part #1596 to go with the Traverse foot pack, (Backcountry.com item #THU0271) on my '99 Volvo S70. They fit just the way they should and even held up perfectly on a 12 hour mountain pass snowstorm maiden voyage. As long as you get the correct parts, everything should work relatively seamlessly!

the 1210 is the correct foot bed for a 06 WRX without a factory rack(there isn't one for that year btw). These and the Traverse Foot Pack will give you a great base to put a box or a set of ski racks on. It even looks great too.
