Go to the auto store and pickup a few feet of 1in coolant hose. Then go to the hardware store and buy 1in nylon webbing. Figure out how to sew. You can make 12 or 14 of these in what ever length you need for your car for the $30 they are asking for. If these were $2 each I would be more impressed. There is nothing wrong with the quality just the scam associated.

I finally found these straps hoping they would be the answer for securing my kayaks on the roof of my 2014 Ford Escape Titanium. The vehicle does not have tow hooks or a rear attachment for the tie downs on my Thule hullaport pro. Had hoped these would do so, and they probably would if they were longer. Unfortunately they do not extend beyond the liftgate and I cannot use them to attach the lines.

Picked these up when I went on a recent trip and we took a car with no tow loops. Glad I found Thules Quick Loop online the day before the trip. They are incredibly easy to use and worked amazing! I highly suggest them to anyone with a kayak or canoe just incase...

These loop straps work great. My new car does not have the tow rings at all never mind the four corners my previous car did that I used to secure my kayak or canoe end-lines. It was a must fix before I bought the car. Simple, easy to use - what else could one ask for.
