I bought this for my wife because she would always steal my thermoball jacket. She loves that Its light weight and comfortable. She likes that she can stuff the jacket into her pocket and it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

I have this jacket in 7 different colors and some of those were purchased as far back as 2013. I was excited to try their newest one and I was extremely impressed! I really enjoyed that they went back to the fitted cuffs and did some fun, feminine colors. One complaint that I have had with previous models is that after a ton of usage, the fabric fades a bit and you can really see the seams between insulation. This fabric is more of a solid color rather than a transparent color which should completely fix that! I really liked the Asthen purple color as it had a a tiny bit of shine to the color. I also really like that The North Face logo is now the same color. I layered it over a north face fleece hoodie and stayed super warm while snow-shoeing through the Wasatch Mountain range. If I am layering with a thick sweater or hoodie, I will go up a size to a medium. If I am just wearing one shirt underneath, I will generally wear a small. This is one of my favorite items that is really worth every penny. All 7 of my Thermoball jackets have held up so well without flaw.

This Jacket is awesome, light enough to keep warm on cool days but warm enough to layer over base layers on cold days. The synthetic insulation is great at keeping you sweat-free and warm. Got it in the ashen purple color and it is so unique! Warmth without the guilt! Sleeves ran a bit long on me but that squeezed the blocky design together so it did not look bad at all!

This is a wonderfully warm and stylish jacket. Everything from the feel, fill, fit, style, and color make this jacket perfect to include in your fall/winter jacket rotation. I have the S and it fit perfectly; I am 5’2 and 120lbs and it felt loose enough to add a base layer underneath, but not baggy at all. The front of the jacket hit me at about the waist, and the back of it was slightly longer (which I really love, since it helps cover my bottom a little). The jacket has a nice plush feel to it, the quality is there. We’ll see how it holds up in different adventures. I’ve worn it in fall weather (40-50 degrees) and its kept me nice and toasty. The aspen purple color I got is amazing; it’s a beautiful lavender pink color with a slight metallic sheen. I can’t help but to stare at the sleeves when I wear it. I have no complaints about this jacket. Check it out!
