I wear this as a mid layer when going outside in the winter and it is really warm and comfortable. The hood is a bit oversized and floppy but wear a hat and it works just fine to keep out the cold and wind. It has large inside pockets and warm outside pockets. You won't wear it long hiking due to how warm it gets but you will surely never get cold. On sale I went back and bought a second one.

I'm ~170lbs, 5'10 and lanky. I went with a large pumice grey one after another reviewer w/a similar physique said they liked the large. The sleeves are just barely long enough, and the body fits more like an XL or maybe XXL. Not a deal breaker for me since I just got it to wear around the house since we keep our heat pretty low. It'd look really goofy to wear this outside though, and if it was windy I'd probably get carried away. And as others have said the stitching and seams on the inside are not pretty. Had I paid full price I would be pretty upset with this, but it's fine for what I'm using it for and the other reviews were spot on.

I wear this like a bathrobe...throw it on in the morning for early morning stumbling around the kitchen, going outside for the paper, checking email, etc. It’s big, it’s super furry on the inside, and crazy cozy. Every time I wear it, I feel like Luke skywalker climbing inside a tauntaun in Empire Strikes back. At sale price, this is a no brainer. At full price...eh. It’s boxy and frumpy from a style perspective. But for the first hour of the day, who cares?

It cost me $10 to ship these back after getting a medium, which is the same size as my stoic jacket I love, and finding out that it fit me like a xxl. I almost wanted to try a small, but that was probably still too massive for a normal person to wear.

I bought one of these a yea ago or so and it has held up great despite wearing excessively. It is super soft and cozy. Great for taking the dog for a walk on cool mornings or just for lounging around home. Not something I would take on a backpacking trip with me since it doesn’t pack down real small. Let me put it this way, everyone in my house has one now because I was tired of them borrowing mine. I love how it fits. It’s not a technical piece of clothing. It fits like comfy clothing. I have bought all of mine on sale and I feel like I stole the thing! Well worth it

I love the Sweater, the material is super soft and warm, the color is exactly how I wanted it but the fit is way big, the arms and the hood are perfect for a small size but the torso fits like a large size.

There seems to be no effort at tailoring this jacket. It’s way to big and fits like an oversized pillowcase.

The other reviews about weird sizing are correct. I ordered a small and the sleeves fit great, but the body is the size of a Men's Medium. This item seems to be for short, stocky people. Materials are excellent though

I’m glad I went ahead and purchased! I read most of the reviews and saw the some said it runs small, others that it runs long, and some that the body-to-arm length ratio was way off. However, I really liked the look and figured I’d give it a shot. For me, it fits great! I got an XL. Usually I have a problem finding a jacket that is long enough but not wide. Sleeves are perfect length. The fit isn’t baggy at all. For reference, I am 6’4, 225lbs, with an athletic build...though not as fit as I’d like (thank you COVID). Overall, I think it’s worth giving it a shot!

Female here, buying a men's sweater! I love this sweater, its incredibly soft with the sherpa fleece lining and oh so comfortable. Fits perfectly, I normally fit an XL in most women's clothing, so I opted for this men's Large. I was actually pleasantly surprised that the sleeves even fit me. Normally the sleeves on my jackets and sweaters are too long, but these are just right.

It might be me, but I don't think so. Every other medium fits me well. This garment is beautiful in its details ( black color) if only it was made by and for earthlings ! The sleeves are a perfect fit but some gremlin got the brilliant idea to stick them to an XXXL body. It's going back, sorry, I am not that stoic to go out in this - I think I'd look like a sail on a windy day, a Michelin man with deflated arms.... For those who were lucky to get the same size jacket body as their sleeves, enjoy it !!! Pity mine was not one of them :/

I am 5' 8" 155 lbs. and a medium was perfect. It fits a little baggy, but not sloppy. It is crazy warm and looks good. I usually wear it as a casual piece, but wore skiing (with a base layer and fleece vest) on a sunny days in the high 20's and it was perfect. The sherpa lining is wonderful. .................................................... UPDATE Sept 2020 I bought a Small for someone else (5'5" 120 lbs.) in fall 2020 and it is 1 - 2 sizes larger than my Medium. The Quality Control at manufacturing on this batch is terrible. I don't know if the sizes got swapped or if they all suddenly grew, either way be warned that sizing is a hot mess.

I can't describe how weird the fit is on this. The sleeves are long but skinny and the width of the jacket is several times too large for the specified size. I generally wear a medium, but ordered a small and it is still massive. I have a size medium fleece jacket form Stoic (that is on the large size for medium) that is way smaller than this one. I actually returned the first one of these I bought because I thought it had just been mislabeled. Second one went back as well. Fabric was soft and would have loved for this to work

This is one of the coziest sweaters I have ever worn! Wearing this sweater feels like I have Care Bears hugging me!!! It is super warm and great to wear on a chilly morning while drinking my coffee on the back porch. I have owned this for a year now and it has held up great. It is made of quality materials. I'm 6'2 225lbs and the XL fits me perfect. I usually have issues with sleeves being a tad too short but this was not a problem. I highly recommend this sweater for anyone that enjoys being warm and cozy :)

I gave this as a gift. The price was great and the material is warm and comfortable but it is cut weird in the arm area. I got a large and he actually needed it larger in the arm area but an XL would be too big everywhere else.

Considered buying one of these for awhile and when they went on sale I thought OK now's the time. Even at a great price I sent it back. The construction, the cutting and sewing was so poor. I've had great luck with Stoic stuff in the past. But there's good stuff out there at good prices and I'm not going to keep poorly made stuff even if the price is low. It cost me to send it back too.
