When you're slaying powder in the backcountry or hurling yourself into the air under KT-22, you need a helmet to protect you without weighing you down. The Smith Allure MIPS Helmet does just that, with a sleek low-profile design that will keep your freeride look on point. The in-mold construction brings you a minimalist profile without sacrificing durability, and MIPS technology utilizes a slip-plane liner to help protect your noggin from angular impacts.

Airflow climate control gives you ample vents to keep your head cool should you decide to head towards the backside for a quick bootpack, and the AirEvac 2 system drives warm air away from the front of the helmet to keep your lenses fog-free. The ear pads are soft and cozy for frigid midwinter chairlift rides, but are removable for when the snow turns to slush and spring shred shenanigans go underway.

Great fit with Smith Squad Goggles. Mind the Gap.

If you're on the hunt for a helmet that's lightweight, comfortable, and low profile, look no further. The Maze has been around for several years now and for good reason. Small refinements come with each season and continues to be a favorite. I bought this as a gift after complaints of her previous helmet being too big and heavy. She loves her new helmet and paired with some Smith goggles, they make for a great look.

I actually bought this helmet for myself because I like the fuzzy earpads on women's helmets. The large fits me great. This helmet doesn't have a boa adjuster so it is a little limiting if you want to throw a hat under.

For many seasons I've been rocking a rather unsightly helmet that didn't really match up with my goggles all that well. I finally updated to this sleek shell earlier this season and can't believe i didn't make the switch earlier. Not only am I now more stylish, but I feel more confident (not going crazy or anything) and I trust my gear more, which is huge. I ordered the Matte Champagne color and it looks pretty much exactly like the photo. And, it matches the color of my goggles as well, Thanks Smith!

I've been in need of a new ski helmet for some time now and wanted something super simple while also keeping me safe. I have no complaints with this helmet, it's warm, secure, and looks just how I want it to. I got it in matte black and so far it hasn't shown any dirt or salt marks either. Would definitely recommend!

Stylish, warm, and comfortable. Looks great with IO/S goggles. Nice having the addition of the MIPS technology. Would highly recommend.

You really can't go wrong with a ski helmet, period. The Allure is a great option and is a solid price point for having MIPS. The helmet comes with ear covers, but is all removable so you can customize how the helmet really fits on you. Beanie underneath, or no beanie underneath, the choices is yours.
