I use these smart wool socks as my go to long distance running socks. They are cushioned in all the right places. Having consistently ran over than 50 miles a week, I haven't had any blisters or hot spots.

I'm not sure I'll ever buy a different pair of running socks. These are the best I've ever owned. Love em.

I've used these a handful of times with my trail runners and love them! They don't slide down and they provide a perfect minimal amount of cushion.

I love these socks for everyday use as well as for hiking or trail running. They are very cushioned and supportive around the toes, heel, and ankle but don't bunch up. The merino wool is great for keeping your feet dry and staving away any odor.

Great socks that are super comfortable and wick moisture thanks to the merino wool. They stay in place over the course of long runs/workouts as well. Definitely recommend.

A very comfortable sock that stays in place. I like the way the wool keeps my feet dry. They've not been too hot nor cold.

Smartwool is by far my most trusted and used sock brand. Their products are comfy, soft, and supportive. This sock is a must have for any kind of running; gym or trail. The socks are cushy where you need them to be and surprisingly supportive. What I noticed the most was how very warm my feet got in these sock. After a short run on the track, my feet were toasty warm during my cool down lap. Not necessarily a bad thing, especially when I take these outside, but warmer than most running socks I have used. These socks are awesome! Don't miss out on a comfy running experience.

Material is great and breathable. I used them as running and gym socks. I would recommend you to buy L size if you wear 10 US size.

So I've been using thicker wool socks (mostly darn tough) for most of my daily and hiking sock needs, and when I was looking for a low cut running sock - I decided to try these. I'm sold and am about to purchase a couple more pairs. They're a great weight, with plenty of breathability and enough cushioning without being too bulky or hot. They also are holding up really well - both within the week and long-term - and no smell like synthetics

Great moisture wicking socks. Padded in the areas you need them padded. Perfect all around, just need a few more in my drawer.

I use these as my running/gym socks and I love them! I can usually get a solid 4-5 days out of them before I need to wash them, as long as I let them air out in between. They're comfy, supportive, and work great! No complaints!

So good i tossed all my other socks in the donation bin and picked up a selection of these and the other ultra light run socks. These here are the ones with the extra padding on the bottom which can be great for longer hikes/walks/runs where the padding is worth it or you have minimal shoes. The other ultra lights are the same thickness everywhere and SUPER light, they are much cooler and better for those really sweaty days. Everything smart wool makes i have bought so far is great so you can't go wrong either way. These were so good i dropped the dollars and replaced all my socks with them. I didn't need have as many because you can get away with wearing them for a couple of days at a time without the smell creeping in.

These things are like wearing nothing except they still extract sweat away from your feet when you're running and/or working hard. I love these socks I wish i had 10 pairs.
