Luckily, you layered the SmartWool Men's NTS Midweight Zip Top under your waterproof shell before hitting the slopes this morning, especially considering the twenty minute lift-hold you endured in frigid, single-digit temps. This midweight baselayer features cozy merino wool for high levels of heat-trapping warmth and moisture-wicking comfort. Moreover, the seamless shoulders and flatlock body seams eliminate the scratchy, irritating feel common with many wool baselayers.

A great wicking and warm base layer but sleeves fit like a Tall so too much length in arms that bunch up a bit.

Ordered this and the bottoms on 11/27 - haven't received the top and cs can only state that the order is proceeding "normally". 12 days and counting is normal???? Seriously??? If not received today delivery (if it ever happens)will be refused, charges placed in dispute with cc company and rest of order returned for refund. BC sucks.

It is a nice piece, it is more like a thin sweater than a base layer. That being said, it feels like a thin sweater more than it does a base layer. I was being itched by it. Will it go away after being washed? I don't have sensitive skin and pretty much can deal with whatever, if someone with sensitive skin had this on? I noticed it immediately. I bought the bottoms as well and didn't notice the itchy feeling as much on my legs, just mainly on my back and arms from the top. I wore them over the weekend just to see how, or if they would break in, the itch was still there at the end, but again, it is more of a subtle thing for for me. They are nice pieces and they do keep you warm, but if you are driven nuts by itchy materials, you might not like these.
