These might be my new favorite medium weight sock. They have a little more cushion than some of my other medium weight merino. They are warm and the fit is so good.

I wish the wool percentage was closer to 80%, but these do a great job at providing cushion and warmth and comfort. The elastic band gives nice compression and they don't slip around in your boot at all. Made in USA is also always nice to see.

These are the best hiking socks I've ever owned. Now that I've found them, I won't buy anything else to hike in. I used to always get blisters. I bought these for the Three Pass Trek in Nepal, wore them the entire time on this 14 day hike and didn't get a single blister. Magic!

I had always purchased wool socks from Costco for previous ski seasons because you can get a pack of 3 wool socks for under $20. This is the first season I've used Smartwool socks and I LOVE THEM! It's definitely worth it to spend a little extra for nicer socks. 100% would recommend this brand and style for hiking or skiing or indoor lounging with the cats.
