If you're one to travel by plane and like to take your bike on adventures with you, check out the Limited Edition Aerocomfort 3.0 TSA Road Case from SciCon. With it, you can take to the sky with your trusty steed and rest assured its properly protected from heavy-handed cargo handlers. It uses features from a hard-case design along with compact and lightweight characteristics of a bag allowing the Aerocomfort 3.0 to bridge the gap, not only providing more protection than a regular bike bag but also fitting within most airline's standard luggage regulations, so you can skip heavy upcharges at airports. This particular version steps up to a Limited Edition Red or Yellow colorway if you want something a bit more colorful than all black.

The Aerocomfort 3.0 starts with a rigid Frame Defender metal base that's easy to lock your frame to securely, with adapters so that you can easily secure either your quick-release skewers or 12mm thru axles for a sturdy ride. It comes along with pads to add protection to the frame its self, and two side pockets for your wheels to keep them scratch free while adding another layer of protection to your frame, and a gear stash bag, so you can stow away other riding essentials underneath your down tube and fork.

Constructed from SciCon's D-TEX860 fabric, the exterior is tough and resilient, standing up to tears and scuffs from airports, and keeping the objects inside protected. The bag opens with a 3/4 zip, which enables TSA agents to inspect your bike without unpacking it, and a TSA lock keeps your machine safe from everybody else. The bag comes along with the adjustable rigid frame, 4 quick release adapters, 3 pads, a storage bag, gear bag, and straps for securing the frame in place. On the outside, you'll find two removable straps, one shoulder strap for getting up and down stairs in a hurry, and one front pull strap for handy airport maneuvering.

I have used the case for one trip so far and the good news is that it protected my bike there and back and it was easy to pack. Also pretty maneuverable and light for something so bulky. The problem is that there are already two small holes over the handle bars so I’m disappointed that it would wear out so fast. I called and holes are not covered under the warranty. In addition to properly packing the bike I also had bubble wrap and a towel or two over the handlebars/shifters to create more cushioning. While it’s not a huge hole I am concerned about them getting bigger next time I use it and the overall durability of this product.

Ive been using Scicon bike cases for a few years and loooooove how easy it is to pack and unpack my bike. Literally all you need to do is take the wheels off. This case would be great really for anyone. I do most of my traveling around the world by myself so I need a bike case that is easy to put my bike together and that protects it.

I have been a triathlete for several years, but for me, the bike mechanics are not the best. So for me, this case has been my best help to survive all the issues of putting together my bike without any problems, saving time and stress too! I think we always have to look for the most practical and safe options to travel with ur bike!
