Anyone pushing out serious watts is acutely aware of wind resistance slowing them down, especially in competitive racing and training scenarios. Designed to cut drag from slowing you down, the Santini Men's Genio Bib Short employs Fitter fabric that's highly aerodynamic, as to increase your efficiency while pushing yourself at an increasingly swift cadence.

This aerodynamic fabric sits alongside elastic bib straps that support this bib short in an upright position, but without creating irritation issues, seeing they lie flat against your skin without pinching or pressure points cropping up. The rear of the bib uppers is constructed from breathable mesh fabric that helps to regulate your body temperature, preventing overheating as you're pushing out serious watts on the road.

Delving into the heart and soul of this bib short, you'll find the C3 chamois, which is regarded as one of the most comfortable and supportive pads on the market, thanks to its overlapping layers of multi-density foam for support and shock absorption precisely where you need it. The top layer is perforated to increase moisture transport, so you're not slogging down the road as a sweaty mess, which inevitably leads to irritation.

I purchased the XXL and, while the shorts are too long (reaching the knee and thus there is chafing under the knee), they are also too tight. The quality seems excellent but they are obviously made for a body shape that is far from mine...

I never thought I would spend so much for a pair of cycling bibs but once I rode in these the first time, I realize where the money goes. It's a next level feel of bib. The chamois is excellent and that's after a severe five hour group ride with over 6,000 feet of climbing and high heat in the Eastern Sierras. I have other bibs to mix in to my routine but I know what my favorite pair are now! **also....in regards of fit, I ususally wear a medium and bought these as a medium. Know that they fit a little tighter than what you may expect but they form up nicely once you pedal a few miles.
