I am 5'8" 140lbs I got the BC100 in a 170. I ski all kinds of snow conditions all winter in northern VT. I have Voile 3 pin bindings on the skis and use leather bc xc boots typically. I tried skiing them with scarpa t2x boots as well. With the stiff plastic boots they performed well on the down hills, but really didn't climb or kick well. I much prefer the leather bc xc boots like the Alpina Alaska 75. They feel nice and light, before I was skiing on Rossi BC90 skis. I think the BC 90s performed better everywhere but on the down hills. The other thing thats weird is the tip notch for the rossi climbing skins, I am planning on filling it with epoxy. The tip wants to catch brush and grass and stuff, it also seems like that is where they will start to delaminate. It also could use more of a tip. they tips remind me of skate skis.. they do have a bit of early rise kinda thing going on but in the snow you cant even see the skis.. pretty minor though, I have only a few days on them and i think they will work alright. Nice on the down hills, alright float, could climb better.
