As the river lets off steam under the morning sun, mayflies start to crest from the surface film and trout break the stillness of the morning as they pursue their prey—now is the time you pursue yours with the Vice Fly Rod. Redington designed this rod with a multi-modulus carbon fiber blank to provide an easy-casting fast action, so making those quick and accurate presentations that won't spook the trout will be that much easier. The half-wells cork handle will remain comfortable as you make cast after cast, and the anodized reel seat will keep your reel securely in place when you eventually hook into the fish that will put your predatory skills to the test.

The 6 weight vice is one of the most versatile rods out there. You can present small dry flies and larger weighted buggers with ease, and the 4 piece makes it easy to travel with.

This is a great rod for anyone looking to pick up a reliable rod without putting a hole in their wallet. Redington makes quality gear at great prices. I would definitely recommend this rod!

As someone that just got into fly fishing I didn't want to break the bank but I also didn't want something cheap that I would grow out of after two fimes out fishing. The Vice fly rod fit what I was looking for perfectly! High quality and durable rod that I'll be able to use for years to come and comes at an extremely reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this rod!

This a great, light but well balanced rod. I have the 3WT 7'6" in length mostly for small streams and tight quarters. Very accurate have not landed in a bush or tree yet. Very fun rod caught many chum smolt and small rainbows on it.

I'm a Redington fanboy, I have 7 Redington rods and 5 reels. They perform, are durable, and are great value. Do you really want to spend double on a fly rod for a 5% improvement in performance? I have the 7wt and have used it for stripers and stillwater trout. It casts heavy streamers and sinking lines just fine.

A good old school fast action rod. I have the 10' 7wt Casts the rio intouch big nasty line very well. Definitely not the lightest rod around but that's to be expected for the price. Overall if you're looking for a super fast action rod for a fraction of the price than look no further. My sages are much lighter but this rod will cast right with them.
