It's easy to romanticize spring as being a warm, flowery time of year when there's a foot of snow outside your door—but in all reality, spring is wet, muddy, and sometimes snowy mess. True warm-weather lovers know summer is where it's at for a number of reasons, but mainly because that's the best time of year to wear the Prana Women's Halle Skort. With a built-in jersey short on the inside and classic skirt style on the outside, this summer-loving skirt is ideally worn during those sunny days when you could be strolling between shops one moment and walking your dog on a favorite local trail the next. And if by some miracle spring decides to play nice, then you can certainly bust the Halle out for a little pre-summer adventure.

The color on my computer looked like a pretty blue. When I received it it is more grey. Its a pretty color, just wasn't what I expected. I like the skirt, fit is good and the color isn't bad. I just thought I was getting a different color. I am happy with it though.

I love this skort. Seriously. I wear it all the time. I've always struggled when hiking my shorts riding up and this skort has alleviated this problem - plus I'm a fan of the femininity of the product. I can be 5 days into backpacking grunginess and still feel pretty cute due to the style and functionality of this skort. However, I think it's still cute enough that I can get away wearing this outside of the back country. I pair it with a cute top and call it good. There's flexibility in the cut for tons of movement, but the drawstring helps keep it nice and snug around my waist. The fabric is breathable. I'm a huge fan and will definitely be buying more.

I've been looking for a skort similar to a North Face one I've had for years. This is as close as I've come and is a perfect addition to my summer skort collection. I did find it to run big, depending on how one likes things to fit. For the record my measurements are 35.5" hips, 27" waist, 20" thigh ... just height and weight generally aren't helpful to me so I include it all to help others. I generally wear XS in any Prana tight and have a skort and a skirt in size 2, which are a tad on the loose side, but smaller would be too small. I ordered and ultimately returned a size 2 in this skirt, exchanged it for a size 0. The 2 fit fine, but felt too loose for my taste, the waist decidedly big (more hip-hugger, and still generous). The 0 fits well, it is neither tight nor snug, just comfortable ... and the waist is still on the larger size, it hits me mid-thigh. The fabric is on the heavier side for the skirt and the shorts have a bit of compression, but like anything, all will stretch some upon wearing. I know I will have and enjoy this for years to come, the four stars relates to the fact the waist is still generous (I'll use a belt most likely, not the drawstring), otherwise I'd give it five stars. Some commented about the pockets and the way the liner attaches, as both of these are constructed as I've been accustomed to, I found neither to be an issue. I find this is a flattering skirt that can be worn dressed up or down, ready for trail or town.

I have ALOT of these skirts. 5 I think. They are generally amazing, great for travel, great for work, great for dinner out, great all around. Unfortunately on my most recent purchase, the button broke on first laudering, on delicate cycle....hadn't even worn it yet. Contacted BackCountry but it was outside of the 30day return window, so they were unhelpful. Love the skirt - - Don't love BackCounty.

This is a great skirt! Wore it to teach in all day -- super comfortable, no shorts riding up, I'll buy another. Note: The waist runs large, but there's a snap closure and a drawstring to accommodate many body types.

I bought these for a friend that was looking for a comfy way to dress up a bit more. I got her 2 sizes to try and she ended up keeping both sizes. The sizing for Prana is a bit weird. She fit into both sizes just fine. Her only critique was that she wished the shorts were a bit longer underneath to prevent riding up. They are maybe a little less than half the length of the skirt. The shorts underneath are a super comfy, stretchy material, not like traditional shorts of old that had the same materials for the short section as the skirt.

I've worn Prana for years and I know the sizing is ridiculously inconsistent, but I did think that the Halle skort would run the same as the Halle pants. Nope. Size 8 in the skort is gobs too big in the hips. Gobs. I can't recommend sizing down because the waist is on point. The size 8 in the pants fits me like a glove. Weird. Too bad because it's a cute skort and the inner boyshort feels comfy. Good luck!!

Prana clothing are my new go to. I'm a size 6 and their size 6 always fits. This skirt is great for work and play. Love the fit and stretch!

This skirt is not only adorable and comfortable, but super functional. I love the length, not too short and not too long. I probably could have gotten away with ordering a size down, but stuck to my regular size (size 2) and made good use of the interior drawstrings. I do wish Prana made petite sizing, then it would have fit perfectly. It will absolutely still work for me, though, and I can see myself living in this skirt over the summer.
