The prAna Brion Shorts utilize crazy-tough nylon to keep you covered in outdoor conditions where cotton might rip, tear, or just leave you feeling sweaty or soggy. Durable construction means these shorts will stand up to desert excursions and deep-forest bushwhacking. Plus, thanks to their laid-back five-pocket design you'll look good when you're hanging out around town, too.

Basically the best climbing shorts I've ever owned. Got the 11" inseam which is perfect, I don't want to be that dude with really short shorts at the gym. Great for lead or bouldering, high-stepping is not a problem with the flexible material. They seem durable. I like that there are no cargo pockets so getting a harness on/off is no problem. I started wearing them most days and will probably get more.

These look like classic 5 pocket shorts, but are way more comfortable with the stretch fabric and gusseted crotch. I have 3 pairs and wore these almost everyday this past spring and summer.

Fantastic cut and fit there's nothing I'd rather wear in warm weather! They will pill a little bit but are easy to remove. I plan to use these for hiking, travelling and everyday of the summer.

I like these shorts because they're durable and comfortable. I wear them when I climb and they seem to handle rock abrasion well.

These are downright the BEST shorts I have ever owned. full stop. climb, run, ride, go on dates you can do any thing in these AND be super comfortable and stylish. I seriously can't say enough good things. I'm Just slowly replacing all my shorts with different colors of these. I normally have problems finding shorts that fit without a belt or in general as a very athletic 6' 185 lbs normally the thighs are FAR too tight or the waist is too large. These have none of those problems.

I’m a full figured guy and sometimes my hips don’t fit where my waist wants so shorts can be difficult. I’m on the fence between 36/38 most of my life. These are on the bigger side, or stretchy and more forgiving. If your in between size down!

I was needing to replace some equivalent Patagonia shorts. These are a better length and a more durable material. They're not heavy, but they have some heft to them. The form and fit are perfect.

I own several pairs of these - perfect for hiking or casual wear, perfect fit (I'm nearly 6' tall and the 9" hit right above knee).

I have 3 pair of these shorts. They are great for casual wear or activities- hiking,... the ,arterial stretches and there is a gusseted crotch, so no bunching or tight feeling when being active one pair is the 11 inch and the other 2 are the 9 inch length- both are ok, but I would be fine with 10 inch length. I compared to s fall other brands- Kuhl, and others and I like these much better

These shorts have a bit of stretch to them which makes them really comfy. If I had it to do over again I might have ordered them one size smaller as the stretch would account for the smaller waist size.

These are seriously the best shorts ever! I never had shorts that had a bit of stretch to them and I'm now sold. I own 3 pairs now. You won't be disappointed with these!

I own 3 pairs of these shorts as well as 4 pairs of the pants version. The stretch fabric, larger gusset, and water repellant finish are all great and make for an extremely versatile and comfortable pant. The only issue I've seen with all of the pairs I have is that occasionally some of the stitching on the seams has been defective on arrival for one pair and wore prematurely on a second. Not a huge deal, but definitely keep an eye out for it when you first get them. Overall though, I'm a huge fan and will keep buying more.

These shorts are near perfect, they have the right amount of stretch and the Mud color is my favorite. They run big so I recommend sizing down.

These are probably the comfiest pair of shorts I have ever owned. The stretchy material makes for a real comfortable snug fit. Made of real high quality material bound to last me years. I would recommend these to anyone with an active lifestyle!

I love these shorts! Great for any activity but with a classic style that's great for everyday wear. Super durable, lightweight material that's also comfortable. What more could you ask for? I'll definitely be adding more colors to my collection!

I was looking for an attractive modern fitting short that could do a couple key things: Total free movement at the gym for stretching, running, lifting, and climbing; And look great and be comfortable for any summer outings with friends. These shorts are perfect in all of those capacities. I'm 5'11 187 lbs with long legs and pretty thick thighs and butt. I got the 32x11. They are form fitting high if you have some butt muscle then keep sort of a straight leg (it doesn't really taper to hug your leg towards the knee). The 11 inch inseam sits nicely at my knee cap. Great shorts.
