If you're looking for a backup rope, this is great for you. If you're looking for a rope that you can count on, choose a Sterling. At 175 pounds, I fall fairly hard on lead. Whenever I fall on this rope, my knot is welded beyond belief. I've tried everything from double wrapping my knot through my harness to the Yosemite finish. I took a big whip in a gym and had to cut my knot off because it was too tight to even think about getting loose. If this is happening in a gym, forget about leading with this rope outside. Works fine for top roping or an emergency rope, but nothing more than that.

I have the 60. Great rope for the money- I like it as much as my 9.6, which I had expected to be an improvement.
